(UPDATED 3/6) Beautiful Boot, Bad Workmanship
UPDATING this review based on the incredible response from the seller to correct the situation! The seller (topshoesUS) contacted me directly regarding the problem I had with the boot. They offered a full refund or an exchange for a new pair or alternate style. I opted for a similar motorcycle boot (Bruno Marc Men's Motorcycle Combat Boots Casual Zipper Biker Boot), and the craftsmanship, material and quality are immediately noticable! THIS is the style of boot I expected in a "combat" and "motorcycle" boot! The sole is solid with sturdy tread. The material is of sturdy material, not the flimsy, soft stuff of the previous model. All-in-all, this is a 5-star rating for the new boot AND the company's response to my issue. I subtracted the 1-star because of the previous boot. For that style, I cannot change my review. That boot is for casual office wear. It should not be expected to be an everyday boot, and I would definitely not recommed wearing them on a motorcycle! Thanks, again, to topshoesUS for an awesome response to a quality issue. ********************* Original post below ******************************** It took a while to give a rating on this boot. This is truly a case of "you get what you pay for". Most similar style boots are at least $100 more expensive. It is obvious (now) why this one is less. I love the look of this boot. It looks good, fits good. Here are my issues: 1. Zero support. I've had to incorporate inserts just to feel like I wasn't wearing a zero support shoe. 2. Shoddy workmanship. The sole is cheap. Started cracking with 2 months of casual wearing. I only wear these to work, and I sit most of the day! 3. Shoddy workmanship. The sole is detaching from the boot.

Good Boots
I want to start off by saying that I am a woman. My size in men's in a 6.5, but these are just a smidge too large. There's a review in here from some guy in Florida that I agree with: If you go a size smaller, they'll probably be too tight. That said, I think once it gets colder and thicker socks are needed, they'll fit fine. I bought these because it is so hard to find a decent pair of boots that aren't for fashion in the women's section. I wanted something that can withstand actually walking through dirt and rocks without falling apart or hurting my feet. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money. I take the bus about 3 times a week and I walk about a mile home each time. So far they have handled the walk very well. It is September 24th and I've had them since July 12th. I live in the desert Southwest in Texas. When I walk home, I have to walk past a mountain that is constantly falling apart onto the sidewalk. It has rained recently and there's a lot of rocks and dirt all over. I have had no issues walking in these and they grip rather nicely. It's still in the 90s, but I have worn these in 100 degree weather and they have been good during that time too. Overall I would recommend these boots if you're on a budget. They are not bad for the price and I am pleased with my purchase. Edit: I bought these in July of 2021 and it is now February of 2023. A zipper finally gave out and I wore these boots often. I did get a car at the end of 2021, so I did not need to work them as much, but I still wore them regularly. I do not regret making the purchase. I did get a new pair of boots for a steal so I won’t be buying these ones now, but they were an option. Despite the zipper it was time for a new pair as I wore the heels down to weird angles as one does. Also, take note of the laces. These ones only have the holes and it seems the other style is rather terrible. So keep that in mind if you are considering these.

Cheaply cost, cheaply made, will not last long.
So I bought a pair of these shoes around mid January of 2023. Currently July 27th 2023 of this posting; the shoes looked nice, and I knew they were cheap and very likely cheaply made. It is difficult to get shoes of my size, being a size 13+. So the pricing was the biggest hook for me. Around a couple of weeks ago, the insides of the shoes were becoming damaged to the point of damaging my socks. Alright not a big of a deal, I just inserted some replacement foot soles to the heel then. Then the other day before this posting, the soles of the shoes suddenly ripped hard due to me stepping on one of those loose gravel bits on the urban pavement. To make it worse, it began raining and both shoes were soaking in water to the point I was walking with weights on my feet. Having a painful walking home experience before getting a new pair from an old army surplus store, one of the few places to get shoes/boots of my foot size. The shoes were a complete ruined mess. If you wish to buy these shoes, they are cheap; keep in mind that they are also cheaply made and like some of the commentators here. Treat them with the mindset that they have a very VERY short lifespan in being used. Especially if you are the type to do most of their traveling by foot. The soles and heels will not survive very long.

These boots lasted 6 weeks then holes developed between the heel and the synthetic leather. Waste of money.

These boots were excellent value for money. At only £9.99 I expected them to only last a short time but they look very smart and should last a while.
