## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you leave one outlet open? Bcoz i just need 1 inlet and 1 outlet**
A: You cannot leave anything open. When I installed mine, I used one inlet and one outlet. I took the plug that is screwed into the bottom and used it to plug the second inlet that I am not using. I installed the shutoff valve in the bottom hole, and use that with a length of vinyl tubing I installed on there to drain it with every oil change. So in between oil changes, while using the car, that shutoff valve is closed. So nothing is open. If anything were open, most cars would have running problems and throw a CEL and codes due to the vacuum leak.

**Q: What is the thead pitch for the nipples**
A: The thread is neither unf nor unc but, if my memory serves me well, it is one of the NPT units. At least nipples accept a half-inch inside diameter automotive heater hose for connection.

**Q: Do you have just the two port with the same baffle filters inside? thanks**
A: Yes. I also added some steel wool to the inside to trap more oil droplets. Not sure how well it works though as I haven’t been able to get my car started.

**Q: what size thread is the plug in the bottom? the provided Valve is too small**
A: All threaded holes are the same - 3/8 FNPT - female national pipe taper. That type of thread has a thread pitch of 18 thread per inch, but 3/8 FNPT is all you need to know. 3/8 MNPT screws into it. For mine, the drain valve fit and works perfectly.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3/8 MNPT plug is included too
*by A***A on March 19, 2020*

Installed with great results in my 2012 Prius v.In general, I am fairly amazed at the quality of materials and fit, considering the very low price. Highly recommended.I used Teflon (R) tape for the fittings install, and everything seems good. One issue that even careful reading of the description, photos, Q+A, etc. still left me in doubt as to what I would actually receive: The answer is that yes, the 3/8 MNPT plug in the bottom of the can is included, shipping in place. So that's why it is not listed, or shown in the photos. If you install the shutoff valve to allow for easy draining, you would need to remove that plug, but it is an option. So if installing the valve, you can then (as I did) use the plug to close off one of the inlet holes, so you just run with a single inlet and single outlet. Just as I hoped.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5/5 Stars
*by J***E on May 7, 2019*

The Product is great. the metal feels like a sturdy quality and the filter isn't cheap looking. The baffle works well to keep noise at a minimum and the 2 inlets are a nice touch. The only thing keeping me from giving a full 5 stars is the included drain valve. It's too small for the plug opening, and there is no indication of the correct size to order one from another place. Overall satisfied, though i wish the valve worked.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great, cold temps could freeze and plug it..
*by S***S on February 10, 2021*

Have a 08 saturn outlook with the 3.6 vvt v6 they are known for higher oil film in the intake tube and behinde the butterfly valve.. Well mine was doing this and smoking pretty good on start up ... Yes I open up the vent holes on the pcv and othe vent made sure they would breath well that's when I decided to try this guy .. This plus about 8 dollars in rubber hose and some extra fittings and WOW no more smoke on start up no more oil in intake tube fuel milage went up DAM.. But must empty every oil change and if you live in a cold climate or extream cold temps leave the ball valve open a little on the bottom with a hose going to the underside of motor ... Reason why this also traps moisture and may freeze in line or in container and cause a build up of pressure in crank case and blow oil out of a weaker seal or someplace else... So simple leave drain open in winter or purchase a 0 -10 psi adjustable pop off valve and plumb that in the line just out side the pcv valve.. just some advise to help out with Possable problem...
