Ros Hommerson Women's Pixie Lo Posted Sling

I'm very happy with this shoe in the black microtouch fabric. It's actually what I call a faille fabric--you older ladies will know what I mean. Fabric does not look cheap at all, and it arrives with a teflon coating to protect the shoe from spots & stains. That's a nice bonus. Fits just right. I'm a true 8M and ordered 8M. My toes are not squished, even with my bunion on one foot. Favorite thing about this shoe is that the toe box is fairly roomy, and yet the heel strap stays in place around my narrow heel. I wear the strap in the middle hole, and there are several holes on either side for adjustment. I have found this to be true for most Hommerson styles--room in the toes without walking out of the shoe. This is a dressy shoe in the fabric; will look great with any dress that calls for a strappy-style black shoe. Excellent service from Amazon--free shipping & free returns. This is only the second pair of shoes I've ordered from Amazon. I was worried because I usually go to that huge online shoe website that begins with Z. No need to worry. Neither pair of shoes I've ordered had ever been tried on--both brand new condition, packed carefully and shipped quickly. Try this Pixie style if you need a low heeled dress shoe that isn't matronly. I can even see my 38 year old daughter wearing this shoe. Hommerson is a great brand.

I needed shoes for a wedding and I have a very hard foot to fit. These 11 S shoes arrived just in time and fit perfectly. I had no time to break them in and was able to wear them right out of the box. The shoes have enough padding in the foot bed and the heels give good balance. The way the sling heel strap attaches to the front, makes the shoes hold snug and not flop when you walk. I am very satisfied with this purchase!

I expected them to be of round toe shape as per their description on amazon.com site but they are not. They are rather of trapezium shape narrowed to the end of toes room. In overall they feel stable and comfortable for walking but toes room isn't sufficient enough for those who have round toes foot shape - a bit squeezes toes and balls. I would highly advise for amazon.com people provide an accurate and actual description of their goods for us-customers unless they will finally loose..

Looks good with dressy or casual clothes

I got this shoe in the black kid in a 10 C/D. The fit was great as was the look. Dressy enough to wear to work. The only problem was that the shoes squeaked when I walked on the carpet and the tile. The right one was worse than the left. I had to return them. So sorry.Update (05-31-13): I decided to try another pair of these. They fit great and I was very happy that they didn't squeak. I love that these come in a wide. These look dressy and great with slacks, dresses and skirts. I don't think they look like granny shoes. They are much more sensible and classic than the styles out there now. Also, they are much more appropriate for court than the 5 inch heels that are and have been fashionable the past few years.

These shoes are very comfortable. The heel height is just right for me. They are just dressy enough for me to wear to church or justto go out for dinner. The leather is very supple and hugs my feet perfectly. I can hardly wait to wear them, as soon as all this snowthat we have on the ground is gone.

THE SHOE IS ATTRACTIVE BUT I COULDN'T EVEN GET MY FOOT INTO IT AT ALL. MUST NOT BE STANDARD SIZING.

I have been wearing Easy Street and 9 1/2 N fit perfect. Of this Ros Hommerson shoe I couldn't even get it on so I ordered a 10 m It is really too big but I decided not to send anymore sending it back. Maybe I can find a 1/2 innersole and get by with it. No more ordering shoes. I used to wear this brand all the time.
