This is advertised as 1000 gm thinsulate, however it is stamped as 600 gm.

The best hunting or working boots I have ever bought. I paid $100.00 they rival the $250.00 Red Wings, Danners. Buy a pair you will be very impressed how much quilt you get for a $100.00

The boots seem to be very well made and heavy. I ordered a 12 Wide size and it was too narrow for me. The length was also a bit shorter than expected.

Okay to get it out of the way how much insulation is wrong in the description on Amazon. I bought these boots locally so I knew right off the bat. Being said I am always outdoors we homestead, and we eat what we catch, grow, and hunt. These boots are really comfortable. I have a messed up back including 2 broken vertebrae, and cam be on my feet all day in these boots. The waterproof adds is an added benefit especially in Missouri. I can't wait to test them out in the winter to see the insulation. My Carolina boots that costs over $200 only had 400 grams if insulation, but after 5 minutes in 30 degree weather my toes would be froze like I was wearing my steel toe work boots, and my feet freezing. These are awesome, and a good buy for an outdoorsman!
