We Live Here by PAT GROUP METHENY (2006-05-09)

A fantastic album, the verge of jazz and an electronic edge from the synth guitar.I cannot fault any track from this Pat Metheny Group.This is the pure work of a genius.

This one is a real slow grower.At first you'll think its too lightweight; too George Benson wine -bar territory. But after you've lived with it for a few plays the tunes start to sink in, and its a good un. Parhaps the only fault is its a bit samey throughout.

Great as usual

If you like Pat's way of integrating a mighty groove with graceful melodies, then this is for you. I listen to this on my mp3 player whilst cycling around town and I cannot help but jump and down on my saddle to it. 5 stars - one of his best albums ever.

Not usually a great fan of midnight jazz which sends me to sleep but am discovering Pat Metheny and this album is one that retains your listening attention.
