What is the size of 8 years old girl

On the product page, there is a drop down size selection option with 6, 8, 10 and 12. That is actually the age range. It should have read 6 to 8, 8 to 10, 10 to 12 and 12 to 14. (They have just mentioned the lower of the range. So, for a 8 year old girl, I guess the 8 to 10 size (drop down option 8) should be good. Since the fabric is thin and stretchable, it will fit comfortably.
