I ordered one for my 6yr old and one for 9yr old while getting mermaid tails and monofins for their birthdays. The quality is excellent and they are very attractive, stay on well while swimming and have appropriate coverage on bottom and top. My girls even choose to wear these suits when not swimming with their tails. I should have ordered one size larger for my 9 yr old since the bottoms are a little tight around the middle and roll down a bit when she wears them. She's a little thicker in the middle. My 6yr old is very thin and has the usually has the opposite issue (bathing suit bottoms are too big around the waste). I ordered the 4T-5T for the skinny 6 yr old an they fit perfectly! Only slight compliant is when sitting on the edge of a pool or laying on concrete the suit fabric gets little snags and fads in color. Vs. Dolphin Uglies suitsThe ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really cute suit, but difficult for kids to put on by themselves *by V***L on June 14, 2017* The bottoms are moderate which I appreciate. The top seems small for the bottoms. Too short from band to top and too narrow across the front. I love the fabric and design. My granddaughter isn't thrilled. She finds the criss cross ties too difficult to get the top on and off by herself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It fits! Happy daughter *by S***2 on September 12, 2017* I accidentally ordered a XL not a L and thought I ordered too big. I did measure but too my surprise it fit. Top is adjustable so that was convenient otherwise it might have been big but the bottom fit well. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/94126469-sun-tail-mermaid-swimsuit-girls-bikini-set-designer-scale-colors](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/94126469-sun-tail-mermaid-swimsuit-girls-bikini-set-designer-scale-colors) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
