I ordered 2 of these blankets, one for the guest room, and one for my room. In the winter time, I love a cold house at night and so I turn off the heat. Don't worry. I'm in Dallas, so the house seldom cools below 55 at night. Still, an extra blanket is very welcome on those nights, and I will have guests during the holidays. They are perfect. I really love the extra large size, which makes them feel quite luxe, in my mind. They are fairly light... but not a soft, fluffy down blanket like most of us might think of (hope for?) if we ordered a down blanket. The outer material is stiffer. For me, that's slightly disappointing, but overall the blankets do the job. And I do recommend them. They'll be used only in winter at my house here in North Texas... as on even slightly warmer nights, they add too much warmth for me. But on those cold nights, they are sublime!

Keeps you warm in winter and cool in the summer! I fell in love with this blanket after staying at a Sheraton and now have a closet full of them for every bed in my house! I am very picky about my blankets/comforters, and this down blanket is perfect!!! It is down, but its washable. I have four dogs so I wash it often with bleach in my regular washing machine and dryer and have never had any problems. They are also oversized so they actually fit beds like you want them too which is huge since a lot of oversized blankets barely fit.

I purchased two down blankets for two different bedrooms. This one and one by Sterns and Foster. The SF one was more expensive, but I believe it is 100 percent down. Do yourself a favor and buy the SF. It is well worth the extra money. I am not pleased with this one. It makes noise and is not very comfortable (stiff). I received a note from the manufacturer implying that it won't look the same after washing, but it needs washing because of the stiffness. I will try washing and will see if that cures the stiffness and perhaps the noise. I have had none of these issues with the SF blanket and I have not washed the SF blanket.

This is a well-made, quality down blanket. We bought a duvet cover to keep it cleaner, but it it is warm and lightweight. The quality is that which you would find at a 5-star hotel. So glad we purchased this blanket!

Live in south. Good weight. Only complaint is the stiff cover

I love that it isn’t thick but is very warm. Love the weight of it! The size (queen) is large enough even for a king bed.

The comforter seemed very well made, however a little stiff and too heavy for our tropical location. I sent it back. Just be aware that if you do return it, you may end up paying to send it back like I did. Had I known this, I probably would not have ordered it to begin with.

Way thinner than anticipated.
