I bought this Arctis 5 refurbished product to save money versus a new one. I recommend it with no reservations.The box was plain. It contained a long USB cord with a volume knob at the other end. That cord is very long, I keep most of it bundled since I use it during in front of my computer. A separate cord goes from the volume knob to the to the headphones, maybe 3-4 feet. A third cord could replace the USB and volume knob, going to what looks like a 3.5 mm headphone jack instead of the USB. That cord is about 6 inches long, but will work to attach to anything kept on your body when joined with the cord to the headphones. There was also a instruction booklet that I ignored because it was so easy to assemble.Quality was very good. There is one very minor rub on one ear piece, less than 3/8 inch long. It is only visible under direct low angle lighting. It is likely the reason the product was returned, but I found it inconsequential. No one looking at it from more than a foot away will know it is there.The performance is amazing. I use it to record screen capture videos. The mic quality is extraordinarily clear, no pops, hisses, or clicks. I wear it for several hours at a time, with no fatigue or overheating.When the mic is active, a red light appears at the top of the microphone. Other reviews found this annoying, I did not notice it. The default LED colors on the ear pieces cycle slowly through the rainbow, I did not notice these either since I was wearing them.

These headphones are wonderful! Great sound quality, and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. My only real complaint is that the adjuster strap is clearly not made for smaller heads, and I had to add extra velcro to make mine fit better. Very minor, and didn't cause me any trouble to do.My purchase was for a refurbished unit, and it arrived with an extremely tiny scuff on one ear. That scuff saved me a ton of money and allowed me to get the mid-range headphones over the cheap ones, so I'd say it was completely worth it.

Very nice headset, great sound quality, very comfortable, however I have noticed that after a couple hours on nonstop use, the tips of my ears start to hurt, not something I’ve seen from any other headset at this price point, another thing is the included external dial attached to the wire, it doesn’t help anything, I wish there was some way to turn it off or something because it just messes up my sound settings.

It works great for gaming and video editing. The RGB only works on pc it dose not light up when plugged into my Xbox. But I only need it for sound. It’s durable and comfy to wear. Nothing more I could ask for.

The headset it great I really enjoy it but I was disappointed to find out that the lights didn’t come in when plugged into an Xbox elite controller or just normal controller other than that the headset is great

This is my first proper gaming headset and all I can say is the renewed version is pretty much flawless, it comes completely new, the only difference is the lack of an official packaging which you will probably throw away anyway. RGB lighting is beautiful, mic quality is decent for the price and sound is very good with the surround sound, very comfortable to wear too!

Fits great, comfortable, sounds good, and for a decent price. What more could you ask for.

I bought the product renewed, since you know it was cheap and Amazon has the "Renewed Product Journey" image on display. To put it simply, the product was broken and did not even have the wire to connect the headset to the pc.From the start I was sketched out, since the box it came in was already ripped and the headset was not even encased properly. The pictures that I provided is how the product came in. Again, it did not come with the wires, it did have the manual so that's something I guess.I tested out the product with the Arctis 3 wire, so that may be the reason as to why it did not work properly, but the right side did not work. Like no sound at all, I had my pc at 70 volume like always and nothing came out. On the left side, the sound that came in was not to its full potential. My Arctis 3 which I have had for 2 years has better sound quality than this. The sound came low, and could barely be heard. Again, it might have been due to the wiring issue, but I did not get one, so I had to use what I had.Clearly Amazon skipped steps 2 and 3 on their "Renewed Product Journey," advertisement as the product was faulty and incomplete. Message for everyone, just be cautious what you buy and make sure you can return it. I got bad luck with the item, but it might not be the same for you. This is just my complaint and experience, anyways thank you for reading and have a good one.
