Then I discovered these and the price was reasonable, so I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did! They are as good as the original, and actually work even better. The little projection on the inside that fits into the holes of the watch band is slightly bigger than the one on the original strap keeper and does a better job by staying in place. Also, my wife had a leather watch band that had a broken keeper so I put one of these on and it works well. It doesn't match perfectly, but the black silicone keeper against the dark leather is barely noticeable. I've only had it on for about a week, so I'm unable to rate its durability. Even if it only lasts a year, I still have many others left in the package, so I'm unconcerned about durability. Review: Better than originals - These work perfectly. They are better than the original, issue, keepers. Buy them, now. Replace the originals if you still have them on your band. They stay in place. I use one at a time. Came with 6. Probably last me for 2 or 3 years. ## Frequently Bought Together - E ECSEM Fastener Rings Intended for Suunto 9/Suunto 7/Core/Ambit/Ambit2/Ambit3/Spartan Sport/Traverse Bands Security Loop Holder Keeper Retainer Connector Loops for Suunto 9 Replacement Bands - patrohoo Suunto Core Strap, Rubber Replacement Watch Band for Suunto Core SS014993000. - MoKo Suunto Core Watch Band, Classic Replacement Soft Wrist Band Strap with Metal Clasp for Suunto Core Smart Watch, Fits 5.51"-9.06" (140mm-230mm) Wrist, All Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/94047234-fastener-rings-compatible-for-suunto-9-9-baro-d8-7](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/94047234-fastener-rings-compatible-for-suunto-9-9-baro-d8-7) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
