I tend to get aches and pains in my lower back and sides after a run, but wearing this while running, and for a time afterwards, helps to minimize those effects. It means I'm recovered and ready for another run early the next day, and suffering less later that evening. Don't worry too much about the sizing on these - not only do they stretch quite a lot, but the velcro fastening fixes anywhere along the belt. If you're at all unsure about your size, I'd go for a larger one than you need as you'll be able to fix it smaller if you need to. Either way it's easy to put on and stays in position even with running. I'd fasten it quite tight for the best results. Quality is excellent, clearly well made, and I can't see it falling apart any time soon. It's hand washable, which is pretty easy to do, then pack it back away in its plastic sleeve ready for next time - perfect. The only slight drawback is there's quite a strong smell from it straight out of the packaging. It's not terrible, it's a very "clean" smell, probably from the material used, but it is a bit overpowering. However, once it's on under clothes you don't notice it and the smell doesn't transfer to you when you're wearing it. Very comfortable in use, the material feels soft against your skin and you barely notice it once it's on. I guess if you're wearing very tight fitting clothes you'd probably notice the outline underneath, but I wear a loose t-shirt over the top and it's thin enough that it's basically invisible.

I have been through major laparotomy surgery and was looking for something that would provide good abdominal support during my recovery. I have only just received this abdominal binder, but so far I am very happy with my purchase. It fits well, feels comfortable, and provides the firm support I was looking for around my surgical incision. The delivery was very fast. I know some reviews mention a bad smell, but in my experience it wasn't a big issue, and a quick wash solved it. Based on my first impression, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good abdominal support after surgery.

This product reduces pain after the procedure and helps to speed up recovery by reducing swelling. Not sure if this is an intended benefit but I feel like it helps with deep breathing. Not sure what the science behind it is but it was recommended to me and I’m glad I made the purchase. On a side note, if like me you’re a woman, the widest part for us is the hips and not the waist. It’s meant to fit well but not tight. I felt comfortable wearing this. Will continue to use it for the next few weeks and see how it all goes. So far so good!

Just amazing for my back I can’t do without it now and I believe it’s good for your body anyway. Yes, I recommend it. People with bad backs also value for the money

The bad review is for the smell. Incredibly strong chemical smell even after washing. Hard to even be in the same room as it.

Keeps riding up my chest and digging into my ribs. I have to keep adjusting it every time I move. Is a bit annoying. Also seems to be wrinkling up a lot and only been wearing few days. Is helping somewhat but not a lot. After only a few days it has now stretched into some narrow mess, and I'm a very slim in-shape guy. No belly stretching it etc. Waste of money.

Every day? Kind of. It’s good but it’s thick and very very sweaty. Can’t wear under clothes without looking bulky or sweating against the material but it’s to be expected I guess. Fits well, can’t really move your torso in it.

It does what it should do. It's comfortable to wear and applies the right amount of pressure.

Bought this for postpartum planning to use it whether I had a c section or not...ended up having to have one and I am so thankful I bought this. It is 100 times more comfortable than the binder the hospital gives you, and it’s very sturdy and gives me great support, and the fabric is super soft against your skin while being thick enough to hold everything in place. I was a size 6 145 lbs prepregnancy and didn’t gain anywhere except my belly and the small/ medium size fits great 5 days postpartum, but I could not get it on 2 days ago. Would definitely buy again.
