A pleasant surprise
I hurt my back and can't sleep flat on my back or on my left side. I use a CPAP so I can't sleep on my stomach either. I am restricted to only sleeping on my right side, night after night. This puts the heel of my left foot in contact with the bed all night long. After a few months of sleeping this way I discovered that I had developed some type of contact sore that was very painful. But what to do? For a while I slept with a soft shoe on my left foot, but it made my foot very warm and that made it difficult to sleep. Then, one day, I had a bright idea - check Amazon to see if anyone else could recommend something. And that is how I found this product - a specially designed Heel Cushion "pillow slipper". You slip it onto your foot, close the hook and loop fastener and go to bed. That's it. The slipper is very soft and after a bit you barely feel it. Also, the hook and loop closer keeps it on your foot for the whole night. At first it came off so I started using paper tape to hold it on for the night. But after a few nights I decided to skip the tape and I just make sure to close the fastener tightly. It holds very well and is quite comfortable. Ok, now to the good part >>> It works a treat! My heel is still resting on the bed, but the plush softness of the slipper keeps it from getting sore. Now that I am using this slipper, I can see my heel is getting better and doesn't hurt any more! Glad I found it. I was skeptical, because I expected it to be too warm, too easily lost in the bed during the night, or too uncomfortable. It was none of those things! And I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, suffers from "a bed sore on the heel". Give it a try. Excellent product and not expensive.

Pillows
I got these for my great grandma before she passed away last month and she said they were comfortable , the support was amazing for her heels , and the size was one size fits all . And she had no problem sleeping with them on . The pressure relief was amazing as well .

Great for foot or heel wound or pressure sore cushioning and comfort!
These booties are wonderful for cushioning and are adjustable (via velcro closure) and washable! My only critique is that they do not cover the entire sole of the foot, so that an average-sized adult wearer's toes hang over the front edge. These have smooth surface and slide over sheets, unlike the foam egg-crate booties that make it difficult and uncomfortable to change the foot's position in bed. I also like that you receive two booties per order - one to wear while the other is being washed. Don't machine wash these unless the bootie is the only item in the load - the velcro comes undone and the hook part of the velcro might ruin other items in the load. What would be really perfect is the addition of a hard sole so that these can be worn outside instead of a regular shoe.

Awesome for elbow protection during cubital tunnel surgery recovery
This is an excellent device for anyone recovering from cubital tunnel surgery in the elbow. I had surgery in January and as anyone who has had this surgery knows, the surgical site pain lasts about 4 months post-op and you can't stand to rest your arm on anything hard. The pain is too much. In fact, you can't even sleep well without something soft and cushy under your elbow. My surgical site runs along the back of the elbow but close to my body. It's in a bad spot for being touched, bumped, etc. Plus, I'm a habitual leaner. Anyway, I tried slip on foam dressing sleeves, but they were too tight or abrasive. I even tried to make one myself with no luck. I saw this and thought it looks like exactly what I need. I know this is for feet, but it is perfect for the elbow! I just got it in the mail and have it on right now. I'm so pleased! This can help so many people.

Not Good Under Covers
I don't like to downgrade a product unless it is bad which makes this a hard decision. The product itself is made well and is of good quality. It washes well and is quite soft. When first getting these I thought they were going to be terrific. The problem arises when actually using them. My elderly mother needs protection of her heels from getting bed sores as she is confined to a bed a good part of her day. These are wonderful as far as comfort. BUT... they are so fluffy and bulky that they will tangle up in sheets if she tries to roll over or move at all in the bed. After a couple hours they have turned sideways or pulled almost off. It is a great made product but less than acceptable actual use. If you lay in bed on your back and don't use any covers and don't move positions, I recommend these. Otherwise, they are not practical.
