Plantronics BackBeat 2100 212202-99 Wireless Headphone with Mic (Blue)

So I thought of writing this review to help those who are confused whether to buy the Backbeat Fit 2100 or NO, given the mixed reviews for the product, especially when compared to the earlier Backbeat!I have been using the Plantronics Backbeat Fit for a long time now and was extremely happy with the headset. Long hours of usage during jogs or work-outs, in wind or rain, even in sweat, it never failed. Suddenly, after the same died post exhaustive usage, I had to look out for a new one. I was pretty confused whether to go for the new headset given the mixed reviews for it. However I still took a chance and went ahead with ordering the same.Believe me, this ones a fantastic bluetooth headset, and in case you don't find it better, you won't even find it even a wee bit lower in performance when compared to the earlier Backbeat Fit. Beginning from the build quality which is more rugged, and solid, the sound performance is reasonably improved in this one, especially the bass. The looks also have been improvised, maintaining the fit of the headset equal to the last one. Also on the points where reviews say, the computer voice is bad, it's actually no different from the last one. Yes, it doesn't have 100% noise cancellation but that's how the headset is designed for you to hear ambient noise and know what's going around especially when you're on the street.So for those who loved the earlier headset, this one's a no-brainer. Go for it! And believe me their level of service, including their quality of response and the response time is amazing. I wrote to them asking for a pouch and they were happy to send me one from the older versions! Most other brands have a long-way to go.

This products battery is draining, not up to mentioned criteria. There's a constant fluctuations in sound & crackling sound coming & battery fluctuates from 100%to 80%then suddenly to 20%. Please refund or replace the product.

Best one for your routine sports life.

I was very skeptical about the product after seeing so many reviews specially stating that the quality has reduced drastically, but i have been using this for about 2 months now- hardly found any difference in sound quality. ( Its really good)- the ear piece is slightly bigger than the previous one.- the quick charge works really good, in about 5-10 mins of charge i get more than 1 hour listen time.- not all micro usb cables works good with it, so use the one that comes with the product.

The media could not be loaded. The product quality is good, but if the product develops a problem they DON’T repair or replace if product out of warranty.I bought a higher end version from amazon.com paying almost 14K and the prod worked fine for two years and now have to throw away a 14K product because these guys don’t repair !!!

The first version of plantronics backbeat was extraordinary. This new version is a complete let down. The fit is terrible. The sound quality is pathetic.. It gives so much pain to wear. Returned immediately. I have a JBL endurance which is super amazing..

Been using this product for 6-8 months. Top notch product. Superior build quality. Clear audio. Dependable battery charge holding. Perfect for Gym goers and running enthusiasts- Sweat proof. Long life.

I used previous version of Plantronics Backbeat, it used to be soft rubber but now it is some cheap hard plastic. I wonder if it is original product or some cheaper version sold to me. Someone there to give some feedback? Sound quality seems same but plastic is so hard that ears starts hurting . . . not comfortable and wouldn't recommend this any more
