Excellent purchase. We liked it so much that we purchased another. It holds the perfect amount of water for a school and work day and though we drink reverse osmosis well water at home, this Brita filtered water bottle saves on plastic use and tastes much better too. The straw, lid and leakproof are so nice and the smooth comfortable shape and size makes it a great to carry around or slip into a bag and it stays nice and cold through the day and if done within a couple hours, can keep ice and refill before the ice melts. It’s well worth the money and easy to use. We’ve had it for months and dropped it several times and it is Solidly built. I’m looking forward to see new styles and colors in future.

I'll give an honest review of the pro's and cons so you can decide if this is worth your money.First off let me start with the most important tip if you've never used brita filtered bottles. Rinse the charcoal filter for about 30 seconds before inserting to remove all charcoal particles or else you'll get a mouthful of unpleasant water.This water bottle filters out chlorine so it will give you a very good taste. It won't however filter out micro plastics, but it is actually made out of stainless steel so it will not absorb any plastic while water is sitting in your bottle. It will also cut down on bottled water saving you money and preventing you from drinking plastic bottled water. The stainless steel also adds tremendous durability if you have butter fingers. It will never break on you.I have not noticed any water leaking like other reviews suggest unless you overfill it. Just fill it about an inch from the top and stop. I shook it and turned it upside down and no water leaked out.It will keep your water ice cold for at least 12 hours, but I feel I have left it out for 24 hrs before and it was still cold. The only disclaimer and negative is that the bottle keeps the temperature controlled and isolated so you can't just fill it up with room temperature water and put it in the fridge if you like it cold. It will keep the water at room temperature. You need to add ice or fill it with cold water.Drinking doesn't really require anymore suction than a normal straw so it's not like you'll run out of breath or feel like you just ran a marathon or something. Overall I suggest this and recommend it at the price I paid which was $23. For the price point and value I give it 5 stars. It's worth the investment to save money, give better taste, and help your health in the long term by reducing microplastic consumption by not drinking from plastic bottles.

Read a LOT of other reviews before purchasing. First off, this bottle is just like any cup you drink using a straw. You CANNOT tilt it back and drink, otherwise you're gonna get covered with liquid. You wouldn't think I'd have to say this, but saw so many reviews complaining about this fact. There the straw (with integrated filter) goes all the way down to the bottom of the bottle. There is a small air hole at the top to let air in to the bottle so suction doesn't build up. Again, if you try to "pour" water out, or "tilt" your head back to drink, this is the wrong bottle for you.Also keep in mind that because there is a filter inline with the straw, you will have to suck the water harder than using a plain straw... I don't see any way around this if you want to filter the water. If the water went really easily through the filter, I'd be suspect that the filter was actually doing anything.When first using the filter, I would rinse it out really well to remove loose carbon. If you put the filter in dry, and try drinking, you will suck up a LOT of air at first. Once the filter gets wet, there will be a lot less air when you first drink... BUT water will drain back out of the filter... so if the bottle sits for a while, when you take that first drink, again you'll get a good bit of air till the filter gets wet. Maybe if there was a check valve below the filter, it would prevent this, but that would be one more thing to get funky dirty and hard to clean.Overall the filter does a decent job removing chlorine and improving the taste of TAP WATER. Don't expect a miracle. This filter does NOT remove bacteria and viruses. And it's not going to make every fill of nasty/gross water taste like Evian. It "improved" the flavor to a certain degree, so have reasonable expectations. I found the SLOWER you drink the better the end result.The bottle absolutely keeps the water COLD for a long time, so the double wall vacuum is the real deal. The strap on the top lid seems well constructed with sturdy rivets holding it on. I'm not sure that long term I would hang it by the strap, and it could put stress on clip that holds the lid down to the bottle.

After 2 1/2 years, this thing finally broke!I was wondering how, when, and where it would fail. I travel around quite a bit and just had that feeling...when is this gonna fall apart? The one time I wasn't thinking anything of it, I go to close the lid as I had hundreds of times before and the top part of the lid, where it meets the bottom portion of the lid, a small bit of plastic broke off. I can't close it shut with that trusty "SNAP!" that it used to make, unfortunately.But! This is a well-made product and I'll be replacing it immediately.

Highly recommend! Keeps water cold, easy to use filter. Easy to change filter and straw top. Easily fits into car cup holder and backpack side pocket. Has a handle to carry. Love this color and the sleek design. This bottle is a great quality- I have two- my first one I used for 4 years. Bought this one just for change in color.

This bottle is magnificent! I have searched for so long for this type of bottle. My water is so crisp and tastes like pure spring water from a mountain spring, no lie! With the way that the world is going and everything being contaminated, you have to make sure things are right for your body and this one does it right for water! The size is perfect as well. It fits in the car cup holder, my purse side pocket without spilling and my rollater walker cup holder without jiggling around. The ease of washing it is great! Oh, and cold water! My water stays super cold all day and when I fill it before bed, there is still ice in the morning! I recommend this for everyone!

Been using for 18 mos. This is the 4th because I keep losing them! 4-stars as a water bottle only because it can be hard to pull through and you have to look down to use, not good while driving. 5-stars for ease of refill, tap water to filtered water, leak-proof & decent size. Lost a star due to amazon's packaging. It arrived in a lightly padded paper bag- not boxed as in prior ones - and thus was dented.

I LOVE the chic look of the pink, it feels so soft and its a matte (which i like). the lid is nicely sealed and the handle makes it easy to grab on the go. The only thing is that there is a straw attached to the lid (removable and holds the filter) so cleaning will be a little more tedious but totally worth the buy. I love it!

I haven’t had a problem with leaks like other people have been saying. Good tasting water and keeps the water cold for hours.
