Will this adapter be compatible with my 100-400ef mk11 on my r8

I have used it with 2 canon ef lenses works great but with my tamron and sigma it leaves a vignette so I would say it will work fine with your 100-400.

Is this the adapter that comes with the canon r and rp cameras when bought anew?

It depends which one (on this multi-option listing) you and/or the Question responder are looking at. "Adapter" - sometimes but not always - bundled with the EOS R and EOS RP. "Adapter with lens control ring" - never seen this as part of a ready-made bundle. Seems to be popular for the extra functionality. The other two allow you to use drop-in filters. Again, never seen either as a ready-made bundle with the R or RP. Harry Potter and the curse of the multi-option listing.

Will this work with lenses from my Canon 7D please ?

The Canon 7D uses EF lenses, so any lens you have for the 7D can be mounted to RF moj t with this adapter

Is this adapter weather sealed?

According to Canon, yes they are. Also dust sealed when connected. The Canon version us beautifully flat and forms a perfect seal. I have 3 R adapters for use with EF lenses on the R . I believe they also fit the smaller RP too.
