UPDATE- We have had this bike for a year and a half now and it's the only bike in the neighborhood that my husband has not had to fix. My daughter is growing out of it now and will buy the exact same one just bigger for her next. Best purchase ever. Plus I already know how to pit it together. The one we have has years of life left for the next kid and my daughter was rough on it. Never been so happy with something.So far so good. Im glad I glad I went with my gut and got the.14 instead of the 16 or it would have been way to big for my daughter who is 39 inches and 32 lbs. My daughter loves the bike and I put it together with her help.

This bike was super easy to assemble. Unfortunately the left pedal keeps unthreading itself and falling off. (Maybe it was a right pedal mislabeled as a left?) I contacted Schwinn and they’re sending replacement parts immediately, no questions asked! Not only are they sending a replacement pedal, but an entire pedal assembly kit. When I said I didn’t think I needed anything but the left pedal, the customer service rep said she wouldn’t take any chances and would send all parts that could possibly be contributing to the issue. So, A++++ for customer service. I got a shipment email the same day, and this is during the holiday season!!The bike fits my 3 year old daughter perfectly. I’m looking forward to seeing her learn to ride on this bike.

1 star because less is not possible:- the assembly instructions are not for this product or in any case are incomprehensible. I spent money with the bike shop to put it together- the pedals fell twice- the chain broke (like in this picture) twiceI'm totally unsatisfied with this product and I’m even wondering if it’s safe to ride.Don’t buy it

This bike is great. I love the 14” size. It is the perfect size for my three year old and will likely last awhile. My daughter was struggling with a balance bike. Switching to this bike with training wheels has given her confidence to pedal and learn. Lots of compliments and fond memories Schwinn bikes when we are in the park.The assembly instructions do not match the bike including telling you to use the wrong tools and pictures of screws to tighten that don’t exist on the bike. If you have a reasonable idea of how bikes work, putting it together is easy if you don’t read the steps and just do what makes sense.

Perfect size. We did not size up because we wanted her to feel comfortable and learn to ride and have fun. And she learned right away and she loves it. Great bike!

Love this bike! The training wheels hold up sooo good! I’ve had for a year now and they are in excellent condition and my younger daughter does not have a schwinn bike and her training wheels are shredded. It is in great condition to be passed down to my younger daughter. My daughter will be 6 in September and is outgrowing it and needs a 16” bike now. So now my 4 year old will fit the 14” perfectly.

This is a good bike and easy to assemble. The hardest part was getting the front brakes to line up properly and set them up. All together it took me about 25 minutes to setup. This bike is way sturdier and better than those Frozen or other similiar bikes you see at the box stores. Plus it has black wheels which will look better in the long run compared to white. 14" is perfect for my 4 year old.
