Perfect for my needs
So I spent a lot of time (too much time) looking at reviews and videos of chest protectors since I’ve recently gotten into downhill MTB and there are not shops near me that carry these. Classic Goldilocks. Some were too big and bulky, many were minimalist and though CE rated, didn’t give me assurance. This one is perfect for the coverage I want (full back, some around flank, optional shoulder). I like having the option to wear elbow pads separately. And the M/L fits me perfectly. 6’0, 185 lbs. Price didn’t really factor in because I wanted the right protection for my needs, but the price is right too, especially compared to flimsy minimalist armor that is twice the price. Sending everything else back.

This armor looks top notch
Haven't gotten to ride with it yet but tried it on and it seems top notch. lots of venting which is what i was looking for. but the protection seems like it is still very good. I'm 5'10" / 175lbs and the md/Lg fits great. I like how I can remove the shoulder pads if i want to for easier dual sport rides but still have the option to easily put them back on for when we hammer it on enduro rides.

Well worth the money
Use it for DH mountain bike. Crashed hard on a gap jump. Broke my collarbone and shoulder blade. There were rocks and my jersey was all tore up in the back. If I didn't have this on I'm sure I would have taken a rock or 2 to the spine. It's comfy and I wear it under my jersey minus the shoulder pads. Bottom line. I'm glad I paid a little more for this instead of a cheap chest protector.

Great fitting and light, however the shoulder pads are HUGE
This might be good for motor cross but not MTB. The shoulder pads are HUGE. I wanted something I could wear under my MTB jersey for gravity days, so I went with a stealth armored tee with shoulder protection instead.

The best back protection
This protection has the best back coverage of all the ones available on the market. The shoulder pads are absolutely useless - they're just two pieces of sponge. If they were plastic, then they might be of some use, but as they are, they're not. Plus, they press against your armpits. If you want to protect not only your chest but also your back, this protection is the best. Better than Leatt, O'neil, and others.

Nice Chest protector
I'm 5'10" 170 lbs and the M/L fits good. Good coverage and just as comfortable as any other chest protector. Lighter than I thought. Works under or over my jersey and I wear a backpack style tool/hydration pack with it.
