Nice size hardback
Nice size, hardback. Decent watercolour paper , buckles slightly when doing wet on wet. Pages lay flat when open so easy to achieve double page spread. I will be ordering another once this one is full. Recommend

Made in UK
I am a big fan of Artgecko sketchbooks and love the fact they are made in UK. My normal purchase is the classy book which I love and extremely well priced. The Splashy is a bit too smooth in texture for my taste but if you like Hot Press paper it would be a good one to try

Professional Quality.
I had to do some illustrations for a children's book, so I really needed the best quality paper possible. I wanted a smooth surface for ink drawing and also suitable for acrylic paints. This book was great for the job! It only rippled a tiny bit when wet with paint and flattened back out when d ry. The inks didn't bleed at all and the paper is smooth enough to work quickly, with no danger of the pen catching on the surface.

Quite disappointed about it
I was looking forward to use this pad.Never heard of the company before but the products looked awesome. The pad is just beautiful, sturdy and I loved the touch of the cover. It comes well packed and the product was in good condition. The paper didn't impress me so much .It dulls a lot the colors, they look without life. It doesn't go well with erasing ,so youneed to be careful about that.

Très bonne surprise
Très bonne surprise ; le papier est épais, le grain est fin et la couleur bien blanche. Les finitions sont irréprochables. Je recommande
