Small Animal House

We bought this as a shelter for our cat, to keep her out of the rain or sunshine. When we assembled it it wasn't quite square, as one of the panels didn't fit properly. It took some time to get it right as we needed to shave a bit of wood off one of the parts, but this was just to get it perfect. Our cat seems to really like it and didn't take any persuasion to use it - maybe that was helped by the 'fitted' carpet we also put inside. Great buy for small animals to have shelter outside.

Good little product for the price. It's sturdy enough for a dwarf rabbit and guinea pig, and easy to assemble. It fits into the doorway of the run that we've got (VivaPet Outdoor Octagon Rabbit Run Cage Pen with Sun Protection Net Cover, 55-inch) and acts as a refuge from the cold, wind, rain or sun. Easy to clean and a good size.UPDATE AUGUST 2018: We've had this a while and it's been very useful for our animals. However, the wood is very light and flimsy, and if we weren't super-careful with the hutch it would fall apart. Would prefer to pay an extra £ 5 for much more sturdy wood. Changed review from 4 stars to 3 stars.

I bought this house for the cat at the garden centre where i work. She has lived outside all her life but is getting on in years and needs a little more comfort. Its just right for her and im sure it will be much appreciated in the winter months with a cosy sleeping bag! Basic but quite solid and well made. I like the fact that it is on legs, a must for outdoors. A nice small house!

Very pleased with this little house. It was easy (for my hubby) to put together and he hates anything flat packed!!! I got it to put in the garden as one of my cats hates the rain and I thought he could sit inside and still stay outside. Only seen him in it once but he does like to sit on the roof!! It's fairly small but very good quality

Lovely box, reasonably well made. It may need staining later on. The instructions were not very good though and it took me 2 hours to put together. However it was my first attempt at D.I.Y. It is a good size for my cat, but he prefers to sit on top. I think it will be used more in the winter.

Fab little house!!!Fantastic value for money too.Easy to put together...and a screwdriver provided!Advertised as a rabbit house,but bought for one of my many surrogate cats.Situated on a north facing porch,but a layer of polystyrene tiles in the bottom,a couple of old woolly jumpers and my little man just runs up the ramp,turns around inside and is as warm as toast in minutes!"Happy Christmas" Jerome.Could be buying more ...?

Very nice house. My tortoise lives in it throughout the summer. Only downside it has let rain in at times, but not sure how this has got through the roof.

easy to errect and quite spacious. Bought for one of my cats to hopefully provide shelter as he has decided he wants to live in the garden-in all weathers!
