I use it for lunging in a very dry and dusty environment, it's been holding up well out there. I like the thickness of the rope, it fits well in my hand and I have a lot of control in releasing more slack or not.

Product is a different color from initial picture... but that was the only disappointment. This is a very nice rope, pliable but with feel, and the end feels weighted and the snap is decent quality. Just expect a more royal blue and this is a lovely rope for the price!

This rope is one of the most well made products for a lead or lunge line - the rope itself is a great weight and easy to manipulate. The hardware is supreme. The clasp is a heavy brass that is from another era when quality was paramount. The leather, too, is of great quality.Most horse tack and equipment has lost the quality than used to be decades before - I’m old school and miss the quality parts (great brass parts, wooden brushes, thick leather) as everything is of sub par quality. And plastic.This lead will last you a life time. Worth the coin.

I love this lead rope. I really like trigger bull snaps for lead ropes, but they are sort of hard to find. I also like having a bit of a leather popper for the end, for training. This lead rope fit those requirements perfectly.I was expecting the rope to be stiffer, so I'm really pleased to find that there is no 'breaking in' time -- the rope is soft without being limp. I liked that direct out of the packing coil, it released nice and straight, without having to work out the kinks. We've had even had compliments on it from our trainer. I'm really glad I bought it, and will buy Knotty Girlz products again in the future.

I was very impressed by the feel of this lead rope! It's not bulky and yet it's not so thin you feel worried. VERY soft and feely without being limp. Love the clip as well, and the leather popper seems to be good quality.

I have been following the downunder horsemanship with Clinton anderson and this lead is just like the ones he uses. Highly recommend, been using it for over a year and it still looks the same.
