REUZEL Extreme Hold Matte Pomade, Strongest All Day Hold, Water Soluble Styling, Matte Finish & Flake Free, Easy To Wash Out, For All Hair Types

I’ve used the Reuzel “White” clay matte water soluble pomade tin for a few years now and love it, but wanted to check out one with slightly firmer hold and this was PERFECT! It’s almost just as easy to work with and prep, applied cleanly, smells like sugar cake dessert and washes out easily with no residue! The extra hold is actually fantastic for how easily the grey and white rinse out afterward. I’d say this one grips 30% stronger and stays together without being sticky or waxy ALL DAY long for me. I have very fine curly/wavy hair and after bathing this applies easily and holds damp hair right away, then dries quick too. After a follow up ruffling of the hair, this pomade comes out matte, invisible and so clean looking, while keeping my hair out of my face and even allows for a little cowlick on one side that holds throughout a full work day no problem. Really love it and will be buying a bigger tin to keep in my daily rotation! Slightly pricey, but worth it!

I've been using this for 6 months or so. My hair is super soft and fine. However, its frizzy unless I put something in it and this is great for a natural look without the greasy or wet look. I also run my hands through my hair all the time and it doesn't flake. It washes out and honestly it doesn't even feel like there's anything in it- ever. I also have a cowlick and it does descent to tame it... no, it doesn't glue it down completely but it's good enough. After !years! and probably 50 or 60 different products tested, this works perfectly for my hair. Scent is good and also faint. Its creamy like toothpaste. Easy to apply without clumping the hairs together. I also noticed if I get too much it doesn't matter becasue when its dry I run my hands through it and its perfect.

I have been using hair product for men for almost 30 years. Reuzel stands at the top. It's the best brand out there. Reuzel "gray" as this one is called, has a good strong hold. It smells pleasant. It does what it says it will do, and it does it all day. If you have thick or coarse hair, this will hold it. It is easy to work in your hands and into your hair. It washes out with water and shampoo. It is somewhat resistant to water, so it won't all run out if you swim or workout or shower without actually washing your hair. I highly recommend this product.

EDIT: After using it for a little over a month, I had to subtract a star due to the fact that this product isn't quite as matte as I originally thought it was. There is a bit of a shine to it and my hair can feel a bit greasy the next day if I've added any hair powder to it (hair powder alone doesn't lead to greasiness). It's still a very good product though. ************** I have very straight hair with a medium thickness. When my hair was super thick, almost any product worked on it, but that's no longer the case. I had never heard of this brand but my barber used it recently so I decided to give it a shot. I've probably tried two dozen pastes, clays, waxes, and matte pomades over the past 5 years, but none have worked well for me; this one has worked well. It has a strong hold, it's matte, and most importantly, it doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy the next day. It has a pliable texture, so it's fairly easy to work in. It's not rock hard like some waxes, but it's not too soft like many pastes, which don't have strong hold for people with straight hair. There's a light scent but it's not overwhelming and I actually like it. Another bonus was that I was able to buy a trial size (I wish more brands did this), so if it didn't work, I wouldn't have wasted $20-30. The only other product that I'd had some success with before trying Reuzel was Mitch's finishing clay, but I've found that the Reuzel works a bit better on my hair.

I've been buying the Extreme Hold Matte Pomade for my sons' hair for years now after trying many other products. This holds both fine hair and thicker, course hair very well. I love the matte look, as it's hard to find pomade that doesn't give a shiny look. The smell is great, but strong. Our hair stylist recommended this and we won't go back to anything else!

I love this product but I never finish a 1.3oz tin before it dries out and is no longer useable. I use it daily and I still have a lot of waste.

Ive been looking for a matte pomade with a strong hold. For the longest i used suavecito’s matte pomade and tried out of regz. Suavecito was okay and out of regz had much better hold but smelled awful. After many reviews i gave reuzel extreme hold a try. And let me tell you its the best matte pomade for an extreme hold. I have very wavy umanageable hair and prefer a short textured/slick back style which with most matte pomades im unable to achieve. This stuff goes on great, smells good and not over the top and holds STRONG all day with a low shine. This Is officially my go to pomade from here on out

Questa cera per capelli fa il suo lavoro, non è dura al tatto ma molto morbida, si riesce a prendere bene e si lavora altrettanto bene. Fissa i capelli a dovere e si può rimodellare facilmente. Se si abusa con la quantità allora diventa pesante anche se sempre rimodellabile, dipende dal tipo di fissaggio che volete, morbido come ho provato io o "impomatato" anche se con effetto opaco e non lucido, quello sta ai gusti personali. Io credo sia adatta a tutti i tipi di capelli, e i miei sono veramente terribili sotto questo aspetto perché non sono né lisci né ricci né ondulati, una chiavica insomma, ma con questa cera anche se sto facendoli crescere riesco a tenerli abbastanza sotto controllo anche se non come vorrei io, ma quello credo sia un problema del mio tipo di capello. Profumazione delicata che a me piace abbastanza, ma qui si scende nel gusto personale. Il prezzo, ecco io lo trovo in poco alto per questa confezione piccola che però ha dalla sua il fatto che si può portare facilmente con sé se dovesse servire e che ne serve veramente poca per avere un effetto leggero. Leaves your hair feeling oily. Not matt and dry. If you want a matt, dry look with a strong hold then don't buy this product.

Tested it. It is good but due to the condition that I received it, it is very difficult to spread it. Very poor condition as it was delivered
