Love Machine

... you just want a book that’s a ton of fun and doesn’t have a ton of drama
Sometimes you just want a book that’s a ton of fun and doesn’t have a ton of drama. And for me, Love Machine was just the book I was looking for.Told from dual points of view, Love Machine follows the story of Slate and Keaton. Keaton is smart, fun and sexy. She’s married to her job and totally confident in what she does. However, the one area she is lacking her confidence in is the bedroom. As much as she doesn’t want to admit it, it’s time for her to master it and who better than to call on but her bff Slate. Slate is a walking, talking sex machine. He oozes confidence and is totally comfortable with himself. Having your best friend help you in bedroom should be a recipe for disaster, but these two have a friendship that can withstand anything. Lessons will be taught and lines will be blurred. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Slate and Keaton’s story is about to take you on one satisfying and exciting ride….Love Machine was such a fun read. I mean I just loved it. Keaton and Slate were impossible to not fall in love with. Their friendship was so solid and completely special. You could just feel the sparks jumping off the pages. I loved watching these two interact with one another and the ease between them. Their chemistry was intense and you could tell just how deep their feelings ran, even if they didn’t want to admit it. The road to happily ever after was a little bumpy for these two, but I’m happy to report that the angst and drama is pretty light in this story.Love Machine was just the book I was looking for. It was a quick and easy read for me. Love Machine was well written and just a ton of fun. It gave me everything I could ask for in a friends to lovers romance. From great banter to a fun story-line to moments that made you laugh like crazy and left you with a big smile on your face. To moments that steamed up the pages and had you swooning all over the place. Love Machine was a total hit for me and is another great summer read.

Sexy Slate
All I know is that everyone needs a friend like Slate. Slate and Keaton have been friends since college, pretty much best friends that can talk about anything with each other. And they never so much as thought of hooking up until that drunken offhand text complaining about needing help in the “having sex department” that Keaton sends to Slate. After they talk it over while everyone is sober they decide that Slate will help Keaton figure out what to do since she feels she has no idea what she is supposed to do. Of course this just awakens feelings in each of them that they don’t quite accept right away. Although one of them accepts how they feel sooner than the other and when they tell the other their feelings the response they get is not what was expected. I like how everything was resolved and really thought these to were hot and sexy together. You could feel the chemistry between them. Slate and Keaton are definitely one of my favorite couples I have read lately.

A perfectly steamy summer read!
**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review**Oh how I love Kendall Ryan books! They are always fun, sexy and engaging and Love Machine was absolutely no exception! I did not want to put it down once I started reading.I absolutely adored Keaton and Slate and their relationship. They have been friends for a decade and know one another about as well as anyone can, however they've never looked past that friendship to see if anything else could be possible. Keaton is focused on her work, she loves spreadsheets (a girl after my heart!), but she can be a bit awkward at times, especially when the opposite sex is involved. Slate on the other hand is relaxed, sweet and it's clear that when he cares about someone, he's all in, whether that is a friend or someone who means more. The friendship between Keaton and Slate was so strong that it was absolutely awesome to watch it "catch fire" and turn into a more romantic relationship. I loved that not only Keaton asked Slate for his help, but that Slate did everything he could to help her out, but to also make her feel comfortable. The sparks between the two of them flew, but then things got real for a bit and I was holding my breath hoping that things worked out for the two of them. In the end, I think it worked out perfectly and I loved Slate's gesture toward the end.To me, this is a perfect summer read. It has everything you could want from friendship, to romance, to sexy times and great supporting characters. It makes you laugh, smile and even get a little teary at times. Also, the taste that we got of the upcoming Flirting with Forever was awesome too - can't wait for that one to release later this year.

A fab read !!!
I really love Kendall Ryan's books and this one is another little treasure from her. One of my favourite genre's of best friends to lovers, this book is witty, sweet, passionate and a wonderful read and the characters extremely charismatic and easy to connect to.Slate and Keaton, wow what a great pair to read. I loved Keaton, she is nerdy but smart and she has known Slate for years, they are the best of friends and have known each other for years. They are extremely comfortable in each others company so when Keaton thinks she needs some help in the bedroom department thinking she is not experienced enough to hold down a boyfriend, she confides in Slate; after all he is her best friend.Kendall deals with the matter as she always does in the most magical way. There were many awkward funny moments, many sweet moments, and moments that were laugh out loud. Slate was a lovely man who had a few light bulb moments in this story which was a delight to read. I also liked that this whole book was literally just focused on them as friends and their developing relationship, secondary characters were there and enjoyable but were definitely in the background and in this book I thought this worked really well.A terrific story that should be read, Kendall has done it again with these two adorable characters that I just couldn't get enough of !!!

recommended read
This is officially my favourite Kendall book to date. It’s fun, exciting and I genuinely love the characters. Keaton has to be my favourite but this whole story makes me giggle and swoon. She needs ‘help’ in the bedroom, and I have to admit I snorted too many times in the build up to this because it just has all the trademarks of Kendall’s humour. It was awkward, steamy, funny and interesting.Slate, I’m keeping you. He is an enigma and his way of interacting with Keaton made me swoon on multiple occasions.Definitely a recommended read!5 stars!

I need a Slate in my life!!!
Another superb read from Kendall. Love how she just nails everything she writes. And her covers and blurbs always suck me in instantly. A definite one-click author for me.This one gave me so many good feels, and I loved both mains. Jam-packed with Kendall's signature witty style, this book just flowed perfectly from the very first page. Really looking forward to Camden's story!

Friends to more
I love these characters. Best friends for 10 years when a random comment from a drunk Keaton changes their relationship. They start as Slate teaching all things in the bedroom but as soon as they go for it both realise everything fits perfectly. The only problem is he has sworn off women for permanent relationships vowing only for casual hookups.Keaton realises she wants more but thinks he doesn’t want it.I love the chemistry that oozes from this book a very entertaining read.

Pretty good
A solid 3·5 stars for an enjoyable book. It's a sweet story but I didn't always find that their reasons for getting involved were all that solid. Inevitably when love comes into the picture, there's a break up, and I thought the way the female lead handled it frustrating, needing a neighbour to give her good old fashioned advice. It seemed contradictory to her direct, logical character.
