Child loves this pack for snowboarding. Holds the water nicely and has enough pockets and space for other little things they liked to carry while on the mountain. Only thing is you do have to wash the water bag a few times because it has a plastic taste to it. We didn’t do that the first around just washed it really good and then filled it up and left and didn’t end up drinking from it because the water tasted horrible. When we got back home washed and stacked it a few times and then it was completely fine the next round. Huge plus it doesn’t link anywhere. It is a little difficult sometimes to twist the cap back on and not spill so I recommend doing that over a sink.

This hydration backpack is well made and works as expected. It is also reasonably priced. I only have one minor issue, the bite valve will slowly drip. As this is my first hydration backpack, this may be normal for most bite valves. It is easily solved by closing the valve at the end of the hose where the bite valve is located. The water stays cold for quite some time, but stays cold even longer if you put it in the included cooler bag. I have only used it for some walks near my home so far. It seems to have plenty of storage which I plan to put to use when the weather gets warmer.

What I enjoyed about the item is that the zippers do not open by themselves while biking, which is a plus, compared to other back pack manufacture reviews. It comes with two straps for comfort. I can fit my keys in one pocket, and my phone and wallet in another. I even have room for snacks The water bladder and insulation keeps my water cold. Took some time getting used to drinking the water from the sprout, but I got use to it. It is a title messy adding water and ice, then closing the lid, but I'm ok with this and have eventually come with a technique to add water and ice without too much of a mess. But most importatly does not leak while biking. Good product overall. Have used it four times on rugged mountain biking terrains.

My family and I finally used our hydration backpacks, all 5 of them arrived in perfect condition. We went on a hike and we enjoyed using our packs for the first time. The Packs didn't feel heavy (on this hike), the shoulder straps were very comfortable and we liked very much both options for the outlet for the water (we have a lefty in the family). I like the quality, features and benefits of the pack, we are impressed. The size we ordered were perfect for all of us, including for our 9 year old - the pack is not too small like others and not too big for her. We live on a tropical island so it’s not much what we have to carry but will update my review after we return from a longer hike with a different climate, where more needs to be packed. Update: After our hike to Mt. Fuji, we mainly used these small packs for the children to carry their little things. I was disappointed that the rain did get inside the pack and got their belongings wet. Luckily I carried the most important thing (extra clothes) in my other back pack and they were able to keep warm and dry during our hike the next day. I changed the rating to a 4 Star, because regardless of the rain getting in, the packs are still very comfortable to use.

So far, I'm quite impressed with the bag. The hose routing system is easy to manipulate so you can have it on whichever side of your body you prefer. The actual dispenser looks good, much better than my old one (that required you to bite the end of it just to get water out). The storage capacity is great, and the added bonus pocket is a nice touch. At the time of this writing (5/14/19) I haven't tested it out yet. I'm going to run it through testing this weekend, since I bought it for the sole purpose of taking to the beach this weekend for a music festival. I have no doubts this bag is going to meet my expectations. I will, however, update my review if I find it doesn't. If there's no further edit when you read this, assume that the bag is great and I couldn't be happier.

Just what I needed, Neef to put it to work

On first opening the package, I was impressed. The backpack had a lot of room. The bladder itself seemed to be well made, and I also liked the fact that an insulation pouch was included. The bladder hose was also insulated as well. From the look of things, the backpack is made to keep things cold. This is especially important to me, because when summer comes, it gets really hot and humid. I have ran with the backpack once, and I am pleased to say that it did not feel bulky. The backpack stayed in place, and did not shift around a lot. Overall I am impressed, as to wheather the backpack will last, only time will tell. My only complaint is that upon first use, the water had a plastic taste, but that is an easy fix.

I really wanted to love this hydration pack. After reading the reviews and seeing mostly positive feedback, I decided to purchase it. First of all, I love the colors offered, and the extra gaskets and included cleaning tablets were a huge plus. However, after trying it out this weekend at a music festival, I was a little disappointed. No matter how many times I reseated the hose into the bladder, it always seemed to leak a little bit onto my belongings stored in the pack. Even after switching out the gasket, it still leaked. The worst part was that the hose clamp on the right shoulder strap ended up snapping off halfway through the four days that I was there. After seeing so many reviews about the good quality, it was sad to see that it didn’t hold up as expected. Overall, not a bad buy for $45 though.

Great backpack, love the features, seems strudy

The side pocket zip was not from the front.it should be a double side mean i can zip from the front or vise verse.now currently is from the back so it very hard to reach from behind.that is design failure and the bladder mouthpiece securing cap attachment if pull too hard to drink from the mouthpiece the securing cap rubber strap will break off.if not use thread with a ring over the tube will be better off.also the width of the bag is not wide enough to put things after the bladder was filled with water.not enough space to put a sets of clothing.total failure design.will not recommend to others.

Very lousy cooler bag.add in lots of ice and pour water.the cooler bag cannot keep the ice water cool for 3hours.very lousywhen i was using the mouthpiece to suckthe water,the water was not even cool at all when sucking through the mouth piece.only after a few sip then can feel the cold water.not recommended.storage space not wide enough after putting in the bladder loaded with water.the spacing very little to put clothing.shoudd not buy.wasting money to buy a very lousy product. This unit is solid and made of quality parts. It also has a great pack to carry things. The water bladder also has a bag that is waterproof and can accommodate ice to keep your water bladder ice cold during a hot summer day. The company is also very supportive of its products and you can order extra parts and salt tabs to keep the bladder properly cleaned and clean of bacteria and mildew, etc. I highly recommend this for Motorsports enthusiasts, and or mountain bikers, and hikers who carry water with them and rely upon a quality pack!...
