Great mini monocular to keep in backpack
This review covers 3 monoculars:Linawei Compact Monocular Telescope – 8x21 $14.99JSM Jasmoder Monocular Lightweight Telescope 8x21 $14.99 (10x21 printed on the unit, though)Eyeskey High-end 10X25 Pocket Monocular $49.99I already have a couple of monoculars that were advertised as being for hiking, but they ended up being too bulky and heavy for my 6 mile hikes. This time, I ordered 3 different monoculars at once so I could compare and choose the best one for my needs.I was very disappointed when I received them and discovered that the Linawei and JSM monoculars are the exact same product: same packaging, same look, etc. The only difference was the amazon barcode sticker stuck to the boxes and the branding printed on the unit. I would not have purchased both of them had I known they were identical. The main feature I was looking for was size and weight. All three of these monoculars are much smaller and lighter than the ones I already had, so they all pass this test. The JSM and Linawei are smaller and lighter than the Eyeskey (2-2.05 oz and 3.5” long vs 6.2 oz and 4.5” long). However, the Eyeskey is a much higher quality monocular.I found focusing to be difficult on all of them. The Eyeskey seems to have the touchiest focus. The Eyeskey has lens caps for both ends. The eyepiece cap is not attached, but it has a loop that you can use to run a string through to connect it to the strap loop. The end cap is attached and needs to be held down while using, which is kind of annoying. The Linawei and JSM monoculars have basic low-end carry cases with a belt loop on back that the belt needs to be threaded through. The Eyeskey monocular has a nicer case with a belt loop that can either be threaded with a belt, or else you can pull apart the velcro to quickly attach and release the case from the belt without needing to thread it through.I think the Linawei and JSM are great cheap monoculars for children. Personally, I prefer the Eyeskey, mainly because of quality. The difference is size and weight is not great enough to matter to me.

Great small monocular!
This is small, light, easy to use. It will focus a very short distance which is very useful at times. I have used a monocular like this to read labels taking inventory when a carton was hard to reach, read signs a distance away, and observe wildlife. This will be in my travel bag at all times!

Not so hot
I don't understand all the good reviews for this little little monocular. I think it's a cheap piece of pre-landfill junk and I paid WAY TOO MUCH for it. It won't focus for beans, even at not-so-far distances. I guess I was expecting too much.
