HITBOX 140A MIG Welder Gasless, 110V/220V Dual Voltage Flux Core Welder Flux MIG/Lift TIG/Stick 3 In 1 Synergy MIG Welding Machine With Torch Clamp and 0.8mm Flux Wire

This is the second one I have owned. I had it for 3 years and I used it a lot. Mostly wire feed. O got really used to it and it was doing a great job. However one day the wire feed and and the urgent to the handle quit working. For as much work that I did with it I was not surprised. I dug into it a little but couldn't find anything obvious. I did check to see if the stick welder worked and it did. So I liked the machine so such I just bought another one and will use that one for wire feed and leave the old one hooked up for stick welding. Like I said for the money it's a great machine. I have an older AC DC high amperage buzz box welder that since I owned the hitbox I barley use it unless I am welding thicker metals.

Wasn't sure at first with this being as little as it is, but after using this now on a couple of different projects I've been wanting to get done, I have a new look at it. Preforms a lot better than expecting. Easy to read display, and easy to use dials for fine tuning exactly what your looking for with tour weld! Replacing the wife is easy as can be. Light weight and portability were a must have for me and got both with this unit. Though the ground clamp could be a little stronger as I've used it quite a few times now and the clamp has seemed to have warped rather quickly from being such a soft metal base. This hitbox has outperformed a welder of similar stance from Harbor Freight. Would recommend for a very affordable price, probability, and easy to use basis.

Love the unit. Works great. This is really handy to be able to pick up the unit without having to use a dolly. Display is easy to read.

i love the quality for the price! my toyota needed some frame patching and its an old beater so the bed is long gone and trailer had been welded to the frame in its place. i needed to weld the bed back on and patch the frame, and this little thing did just the trick. with this and some youtube videos the ole yota is on the road again! the only downside is the 220 adapter is specific to a 220 outlet i dont have and dont recall seeing before, so you cant just unplug your stove or dryer and hook this up. also if you buy mig wire its on a spool way to big to fit this machine. but besides that it seems great only time will tell and of everything holds up through the winter ill be giving it 5 stars!

1 one year review: This review is about stick portion of welding capability only so far. I have had this welder for over a year learnt quite a bit but struggled until now I ordered my self a amp meter and checked amp weld puts out consistently lower amps then display i adjusted amps based on my actual reading and it worked Actual Amps are lower by 20-30% if ut had correct amps I would have learnt and did better long time ago. Anyhow I expected better then this Recommendation: aif u ever buy any welders thats not name brand please make sure u use some other tools to calibrate them Seller has contacted me This welder is only good for 1/16 J422 stick rods that comes with it or 6013 cant maint arc with 6010 6011 1/8 or 7018 3/32 does it only if u keep 200 amp my flux comes out easy at higher amp and makes bead as well. mig is ok u need real welder for other electrodes doesnt have hot start either.NO INSTRUCTIONS or support after sales and poor returen and refund policy if u used it (only way to see if it works)

I upgraded from an old 110V Chicago Electric 125 MIG gasless wire feed. This tiny welder makes you feel like you know how to weld like a pro after using that Chicago for years. It’s so easy to setup (adjust your feed and voltage) and lay beautiful welds. Lots of power on both the 110V and 220v. Light weight and precise. Love it. The only complaint I have is that the gasless MIG wire pushes through the cable assembly at the connector whenever you accidentally weld your wire to the tip. (Wire sticks at the tip or inside the tip) Not sure if the wire has voltage when exiting there. But You have to take the cable apart at the welder side and remove or pull back the wire and re feed it from inside the welder or at the cable. Obviously a rookie move that I will have to overcome but basically that functionality isn’t as forgiving on this welder as it was on my old welder.

I was looking for a Flux/MIG/TIG welder to learn with and this had everything I wanted for a great price. Within an hour of opening the box, I had my first test weld done. Please note - as another reviewer said, the WRITTEN set up instructions are swapped in regards to the + / - cord attachment, but the diagram instructions are correct. Im so grateful to that initial reviewer for alerting me to that issue. Other than that, this was a great price, simple to set up, and worked great.
