Truly Amazing!
I can't believe I just discovered these blades through Project Farm on Youtube. I have been using them on my Stihl FS240 and it is just awesome how easy and efficient you can cut woody brush and tree limbs. In the past I did this work with a Stihl FS460 forestry trimmer using a Stihl blade that is half as good. The FS460 is also a beast to haul around a farm for hours on end. I typically grind up woody brush with a 12' flail mower with hammers or batwing mower, but I have some areas around rocks where those mowers can't go which makes the FS240 with these blades the perfect tool.

Great value and durable
My Husqvarna 555FX forestry clearing saw comes with and recommends the Husqvarna Scarlet 9” blade that can be sharpened with a standard chainsaw file. However, I found it wasn’t durable in extreme conditions and didn’t work well against smaller greenbrier or grassy brush. I found these Renegade blades on Amazon and figured it might be worth trying cheaper carbide-tipped blades even though I wouldn’t be able to sharpen them. The results exceeded my expectations. I have run this blade for nearly 3 full days of cutting everything from greenbrier to 5” sweetgum and this blade is still cutting well enough not to be swapped out yet. It will still take down any yaupon like cutting hot butter and small pines of 4-6” easily. It takes some finesse and patience to cut larger sweetgum or oak but if I ran a stock Scarlet blade that long, cutting any hardwood over 1” would be nearly impossible even if I sharpened it every 4 hours.Definitely a good saw blade. For a casual user with a lightweight brush cutter, you could run this blade for a very long time. I’ve definitely torture tested it with the largest commercial clearing saw made in extreme conditions and it’s held up well.

light saber duel anyone?
haven't tried the blue blade yet but OMG the red blade will chop through a 4" diameter sapling with a single swipe at full RPM as if it wasn't even there at all. What they REALLY should tell you, though, is that the ringing of the blade as you smash your way through brush sounds like a light-saber battle happening! So fun to monster mash through brush with this!

Better than expected.
These blades have been better than expected. I have spent several hours each day over about 4 days cutting brush and small trees and the blade is still sharp. Anything smaller gets sliced off like nothing. A good purchase.

Works great on small saplings.
I've used this blade to cut saplings up to an inch and a half. On harder wood I may have to whack it a couple times but it cuts through softer stuff (pine, etc.) like butter. Well worth the money.

Cuts small brush like weeds!
Cuts small brush like weeds! However it cuts small weeds like brush! Bottom line it does a great job cutting brush but is not designed for weeds. Exactly what I was looking for. Exceeded expectations.

The red blades are in high demand.
The red blades are hard to get, and people pay a premium for them. There is nothing quite like these blades for quickly clearing medium brush and grasses. It's one of the best and most durable.

Great cutter, small carbide surfaces
Great help in clearing brush and small trees. The red and blue worked well with grass and brush. They won’t stand up to metal posts or barbed wire so be very careful around fences. Keep it at full extension from your body. It would work well on your limbs too.

Work great but are a chore to sharpen.
I had an old road approximately 2000 feet long, to my new property to clear of a mix of alder, spruce and birch as large as 2.5 inch diameter. Both carbide blades worked very well and stayed sharp much longer compared to the high speed steel blade my brush cutter came with. But when they finally got dull it was a chore to sharpen the carbide. I am a pretty handy fella so I found a way. When the high speed steel blade got dull I would stop cutting, get out my chainsaw blade sharpener and in two minutes I was cutting again.

Great for lighter trimmers.
after watching online reviews I gave this a try for trail clearing of alders and brush. even on a small motor straight shaft trimmer these blade are awesome. lightweight and thin kerf are ideal for lighter duty trimmers. up to 2" easily. I find the red blade is best on woody stuff and the blue blade is better suited for throwing off heavy grass and reeds.will be ordering again

It works
Usiing on a straight shaft with flexible driveshaft. Will have to convert to a 6mm driveshaft to be safe but it still works well. I think the red blade cuts better thru 3" trees

Well worth the money.
Amazing saw blade that feels like you have a laser. I was able to cut Scotch Broom that was almost 2.5 inches thick with just a quick swipe. The smaller brush fell to the side at just looking at the blade. It even cut tall grass with ease without tangling. I highly recommend this product if you have thick growth that a string trimmer will not work on.
