Perfect, very quiet lift at a very good price. It was very easy to install in the box and works very well since over 2 years now. The TV is protected and out of sight when not in use.

I bought this based on reviews, knowing nothing of the variety of tv lift mechanisms out there. First of all, this is a heavy, well-built machine. It was very intuitive to figure out, as most of it is pre-assembled. I custom built a corner cabinet for it to live in, where is houses a 50" LG 4K. Figuring out the mounting in a corner, while ensuring the depth allows for the TV's width was by far the biggest challenge. If this were going into a standard cabinet, one could have this installed in 20-30 minutes out of the box. Great product, and I will trust it for years to come.

We have a 2003 American Coach Revolution 40C motorhome that had the TV in front of the coach. It's not the best placement as our reclining loveseat recliners were 90 degrees to the TV. You had to crane your neck to see it. What a pain in the neck (pun intended)! I searched and came across this model. After measure twice, I determined it would fit behind the couch that is directly across from the loveseat. The couch required some minor modifications to move it a couple of inches towards the center of the coach for the needed clearance. The photo shows our setup with the lift's control/power supply, a soundbar, and Apple TV installed. The video is the operation of the lift. It's very smooth and super quiet. Not shown in the video are the curtains we attached to each side of the TV that comes up with the lift to block the window for easier viewing. Overall, we've been very please with this lift. We've used it since August 2020 during several weeks of traveling in the eastern half of the US.

UPDATE: Since my first review, the system has "locked up" 3 times. Touchstone has sent a new lift each time, but it continues to work a short time, then LOCK. It does seem to happen after a power outage. There was no storm but our power went out two of the times it locked up. When it works it is awesome, but having to uninstall and reinstall two more times is for the birds. I have requested a refund. This was my first review below: After looking at the cost of buying a piece of furniture with a lift already installed, I gave this a shot and built my own. I am thrilled as I was able to build the "box" only 8" Deep so it fits nicely behind our loveseat. Our Livingroom is small so we did not have 18" to dedicate to it. I did not want a TV dominating the room, so I am happy I found this. It was simple to install and I even installed a shelf that rises above the TV so it looks like a sofa table. I am not a carpenter, engineer or anything like that, but I did it. I love it. Silent and smooth operation.

The first one i purchased did not want to lift more than about 20 lbs. no joke. It would lift up about an inch at a time and shut down. I ordered another one and this one seems to be working good. I hope i get a long life out of this one. Pretty easy to install, i didn't really use the instructions.. I went with a flat top lift. One of my only gripes is that the cord on the wired controller should have been about 5 feet longer. If it was than you could leave the control box, and the power supply box inside what ever cabinet you build, instead of having to have all of that outside the box/cabinet. Not the end of the world, its all tucked under my bed, but still, for $300.00 It would have been a little nicer and cleaner. All and all i'm happy so far, well... my wife is happy. Thats what counts.

I like the sturdiness and motor. you cannot hear anything and it its well made and very sturdy. Only little tip for improvement is the cable coming out the fronto of the stand, ideally it would come out od the stand on top part or side of stand, then you would really only need 7" in depth to install it. Still worth the buy can definitely recommend.,

I installed this on my boat. Its a 90s boat and came with a rather large cabinet designed for tube TVs so 28 inches deep. The flat panel TV only occupied the front few inches leaving a nice space behind it that was difficult to use as storage. I cut a rectangular hole in the countertop so the TV could be installed towards the rear of the cabinet. This lift allows the piece cut out of the cabinet to be mounted on the top eliminating the need to be hinged and that makes installation easier. I love that the lift has a memory that I was able to set so each time I raise it it stops at the perfect height. For my installation I made custom bracketing to install a speaker bar under the TV that rides up and down with the TV. Those are not included but it would be a nice option.

Works just like it should. Installed it behind the couch in our motorhome.
