I have used some other ABB notation from other books, and found those don't always have all the detailed parts for multiple guitars. These books do. If you a single player playing alone, you may find yourself having to choose between various parts, and it may be harder to deal with these for songs that have many guitars and overdubs, but if you want to learn the songs the way they were recorded, these are the books.

Bought all three volumes and worth every cent! All the licks are here and the slide work too! Both Duane and Warrens parts in both slide and standard are note for note as well as all Dickeys parts which are just incredible to learn! Great way to learn and improvise over other tunes!

Great book with both music notation and tabs to play the songs. Much thicker than I expected as there are many pages for some songs. Perfect condition and packed so well it stayed that way. Appreciate the trouble the seller went to.

I have been a huge fan of the Allman Bros Band for over 30+ years and I was excited when I received all 3 volumes of their music. A truly amazing collection of southern R&B and a "real" learning tool for their music.

Bought these out of my own curiosity to learn the proper chords/arrangements for many songs.

heard this is the best volume but that depends on what songs you are looking for of course. boyfriend loves it, great way to learning the brothers style so you can incorporate it into any of their songs. plus, its the abb, how could you go wrong?

These 3 tab books really do make it clear that Duane Allman was not superior to Dicky Betts. At their peak this band had 2 guitarist who could match each other and sometimes Dicky would far exceed Duane. Duane was generous enough to admit this saying that while he lead the band as guitarist, Dicky was the musician. Any online list that contains Duane near the top but not Dicky has not researched enough, nor listened enough. These tab books tell us who is soloing where and its clear that Dicky Betts played some of the most incredible solos in the Allman Brothers catalogue, including live and for me Is the most underrated guitarist in Blues Rock. I love these books!

Amazing songs on here but maybe just me, the post Duane Allman stuff just doesn't have the same draw to go back and play. Some of the slide is easy enough for novices like me but some of it is just out of reach and I had to just stick to the Dicky Betts lines which are in themselves challenging enough. Something for all guitarists, Novices will struggle with most of the tracks' lead lines but your intermediate and advanced(plus slideys) will get more from. Spread well over back catalogue and thankfully for me at least, most of the Duane Allman era is covered here.

J'ai maintenant toute la collection de ces volumes I II III autant dire , et vous l'aurez compris que je suis un inconditionnel des Allmans Brothers......The Allman Brothers Band - the Definitive Collection for Guitar volume 2 est un songbook vraiment complet avec des relevés trés préçis pour chaque instrument, aussi bien en tablature qu'en notation conventionnelle, un relevé complet d'un titre représente 6 a 7 pages selon les morceaux ce qui n'est pas courant.Je vous conseille tout à fait cet achat qui reste quand même trés accessible malgré tout aux débutants grace aux tablatures,et qui permet un bon défrichage du morceaux, aprés ce n'est plus que du travail.Seul reproche que l'on peut faire, est, que les titres ne sont pas indiqués sur le site avant de faire l'achat, et ce volume n°3 ne contient pas tous les titres les plus connu des Allmanns, a part 1 ou 2, donc attention si vous cherchez un titre bien particuliers, renseignez vous auprés du vendeur par mail, ils vous donneront le renseignement par retour, sans problème je pense(même si vous ne parlez pas anglais avec une traduction google ça fonctionne pas mal)Ou alors il vous faudra investir dans les volumes 1 et 2 par contre vous ne bénificierez pas de frais de ports réduits même en commandant les 2 ensemble (je les ai contacté à ce sujet), et j'ai eu les F de P pour chaque articles, mais ils restent raisonnable, voilà....Bonne continuation et....Bonne musique....à vous tous.....!Ray.
