Three years later and it's still as good as new!
I bought the Cybertool 41 when I started a new job three years ago, along with a brown leather pouch (Victorinox Swiss Army Brown Leather Pouch 5-8 Layer) to carry it on my belt. It is the single most useful item I have ever purchased, and the best investment considering the low price.I use it all day, everyday. It's been used to take apart computers and expensive scientific instrumentation (thanks to the useful hex screw bits), to cut tubing, open boxes, file down metal catches, cut small branches off trees, open cans and bottles, prune my bonsai trees, cut my nails, fix my bike; the list really is endless. It has never been off my hip since I bought it (apart from when flying). If I had to pick the most useful tool I'd be torn between the screw driver with interchangeable bits or the pliers. If you're worried about carrying the Cybertool in public, don't. Due to the sub 3 inch, non locking blade it is perfectly legal to carry around with you pretty much anywhere in the UK (unless you are using it in a threatening manner). The price of around £50 may seem a little steep, but when I think about how much I use it and how stuck I'd be without it it's payed for itself many times over. A decent Leatherman will set you back around £100. This has only slightly less functionality but has the advantages of being smaller and lighter. After three years in my possession (a rather heavy handed individual) it is as new, apart from a few scuffs where I've managed to drop it. It's well built and needs little looking after; I give it a good wash with dish detergent and lube it every few months. To summarize, this is like having a small toolkit in your pocket. Sturdy, reliable and infinitely useful. One of the best purchases I have ever made. I also recommend the Victorinox Swiss Army Brown Leather Pouch 5-8 Layer to go with the tool - Victorinox Swiss Army Brown Leather Pouch 5-8 Layer.

Excellent household and office tool
Though primarily branded toward tech professionals and people who like to build their own PCs, the Cybertool is a great little everyday multitool, and none of its attachments are so obscure as to not be useful around the home or office. I prefer it to the SwissChamp as it's somewhat slimmer and fits more naturally in the hand, plus the multi-bit screwdriver with long handle on a tool of this size is just fantastic. As you'd expect from Victorinox the build quality is rock solid, even the 90-degree and the bladed attachments are decently sharp out of the box. My only minor niggles would be the lack of a nail clipper (understandably as it's not actually a general tool) and that the wire cutters are very small and (again understandably) geared to filament wire. Overall an extremely impressive product.

Victorinox Cybertool L
Item as described. Brand New. Packaging could have been better. Bubble wrapped maybe? Product box can also be as important as the item to collectors but still Thankful. 10/10 for the product.

UPDATED: Received a faulty item, SUPERB attitude from amazon.co.uk staff, GOOD item.
Initially received a messy item, as you can see in the pictures and read below. After contacting customer support, they offered to send a new replacement. There was a long back and forth that consumed a lot of time (because I refused the replacement since someone at amazon.co.uk was demanding I would personally go to a post office and pay for the shipping of the defective product) but the important thing is that, in the end, customer service was very adequate, manifested how sorry they were for the faulty product and made everything to make sure I was okay with their decision. The important thing is how my last contacts with the staff made me feel that I can continue trusting amazon.co.uk going forward. The item (apart from the original problem) is overall beautiful and great, although the material of the bits should be bettered (the torque is great, but the bits will degrade themselves if under anything more than light use). You should upgrade the material of the bits and the SAK would be 5 stars.ORIGINAL HEADLINE: Messy! Corkscrew with barbed wire like protruding bit, punctured myself opening it. Inadmissible.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The knife looks great aesthetically: neat, robust and beautiful. However, three major flaws which I find inadmissible upon opening it for the first time.1) It came messy, with patches of a whitish grease-like solidified substance on the layers of metal that run between the blades. Maybe it is just the lubricant which solidified, maybe it was used before. I do not know but find this incomprehensible. There was also dust on the scales and inside the box. I am enclosing an image.2) Upon opening the corkscrew for the first time, I felt a puncture on my thumb. Found it weird, since I never punctured my finger with a corkscrew. Turns out it had a tiny bit of metal coming from the corkscrew, kind of barbed wire. Cleaned the blood and took care of the barbed metal, of course. But again, incomprehensible for a high-end product like this. I am enclosing an image.3) Third, the mini-screwdriver is not right at all. It does not sit right in its position on the corkscrew (not vertical, it is in an oblique position which will damage it during its repeated use). I am enclosing an image for this.Although a minor aspect, all this makes me question whether I received a used, or simply faulty, knife.

Love this knife
I've owned a Cybertool for years. I use it everyday in lots of situations. And it just keeps working. I mislayed my last one so I thought I would buy a new one. Can't fault the knife. Craftmanship
