CoolibarUPF 50+ Women's Deep Water Swim Tights - Sun Protective

I used the guide and ordered these in large then returned them for a medium which fit me much better. The broad high-rise band at the waist is extremely comfortable and there is a long rise so they fit really well through the rear end with plenty of room. They are not too tight but just right. I am 5 foot six and weigh 150 pounds. I have an athletic build and I am smaller on the top then on the bottom and these tights are really comfortable. I haven’t used them for swimming yet but I plan to take them to Hawaii and hope they do the job! I bought the large ones based on the sizing chart and they turned out to be too big in the waist and actually over all and so the chart was a good guide for getting started on my first Coolibar order although they were too big. They seem to be really well-made and nicely sewn and designed as well as carefully packaged. The material is soft and very stretchy. I think I’m going to love these!

I've worn Coolibar swim tights for almost 15 years, having purchased many pairs. Although the style has changed slightly, the current product fits and performs perfectly. I bought black last year and navy this year. Although I am probably a solid Medium or even a Large at 5'8" 150, I once again ordered a Small, the same size I wore 12 pounds ago. It fits quite snugly when dry, but when wet, enlarges slightly to a perfect fit. The waist stretches (has elastic that can be drawn up for a tighter fit--or not) enough so that there's no muffin top. I'm a huge fan of all Coolibar items and should get a commission for all the sales I've generated in my water aerobics class!

Accord to the size chart, my waist is XL and my hips are L. I ordered one of each, planning to only keep the best fitting one. To my surprise, they both fit. The material is very stretchy (forgiving.) The L is a little more snug in the waist but totally works. And the XL fits looser but also totally works! I’m keeping both. When I order more in the future, I’ll stick to XL b/c tightening the drawstring (which I have to do) is not a big deal at all and I prefer them looser.

I am 5’7”, 260 lbs and the 3x fit me perfectly. I am going to wear these with my new burkini top…great for Muslims!

I purchased these pants and a Coolibar swim top for sun protection over my body while snorkeling. To purchase both items, I used the sizing chart provided. While dry, the pants seemed to fit correctly, allowing for a generous several inch overlap between the bottom of my top and the top of my pants. However, once wet, they drooped several inches down without my noticing. Simultaneously, the top apparently drifted up -- revealing my lower back, which got badly burned while I was in the water.I had a false sense of security while wearing these items. The areas that I coated with sunscreen (e.g., my face, neck, hands, feet) did not burn; however, since it didn't occur to me that the pants would slip so low down my back, I didn't put sunscreen there. The irony is that in trying to be especially sun-safe with Coolibar, I actually ended up getting burnt in areas that I thought were covered by my swimwear. I would have been better off in a bikini, knowing that I needed to apply sunscreen everywhere and being able to see if my skin was turning pink. It's not worth the risk to your health. If you purchase these items, note that one can't readily tell exactly what areas are covered until you are in the water (or until it's too late).

I bought these for an altermate to sunscreen when I'm swimming. These tights exceeded my expectations. I was surprised how light-weight they are. The material is snug yet super stretchy and they keep their shape when wet. They look and feel sturdy even though they're thin. The fabric is not smooth like swimsuit lycra but it has some texture. This did not bother me but was surprising. They fit suprisingly perfect. I'm 5'10" and they fit high on my waist and end at my ankles. The size chart is totally accurate. I wear an 18 and ordered an XXl (not 2X). They are actually cool upon leaving the water and they peel off very easily. I wore them with a one piece suit underneath. I don't think I'd wear them alone even though they have a reinforced crotch just because they're so thin. As far as I can tell they stay very opaque. I have them in navy blue. I highly recommend for swimming activities where coverage and protection are needed.

I’ve tried cheaper brands and they did not last. These are holding up very well so for me that swims in a chlorine pool daily, the expense is worth it. They are not see through at all and do not sag when wet. Ordered size large and they fit great!

These pants are not sized for petite women. Everything about it was too big and baggy. Measurements don't seem accurate. Tried to find inseam measurement, and also tried to find out if they offer petite sizes - not listed on their Amazon page - so I message Coolibar (a large, well-known company). I was disappointed not to receive a response. I did find on Coolibar's website an inseam measurement which is not accurate as my pants seem to measure a good 1.5" longer. Material also seems rather thin. Their description says "fitted tight leg" - definitely not the case! And the "internal drawcord" at the waist was puzzling - no way to keep it tightened as there is no toggle to keep it from loosening. I returned it.
