The nature's hidden health elixir.
I first by reading the books written by Dr. Edward J. Conley discovered that there is something extraordinary concerning the nutrient Curcumin, the one which we in western countries mostly only remember from its use in making the carry sauces. But then by reading this thin book about Curcumin it showed up that getting the highest healthy results from Curcumin it is by consuming it as pills having the firm name BCM-95, and which are being produced in India, and which among other can be got in many healthy shops.Already, on side 4 in this book I got some highly interesting new learning. Because here I was reading that by using ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity), at the scale of antioxidant, Curcumin is stated to give 157,000 for each 100 grams. And this compared to Blueberry which "only" gives 6,000 for 100 grams. That is that the Curcumin gives 26 times more than the Blueberry!In all of the other books, which I previous have read, I newer have seen the Curcumin mentioned, but concerning antioxidants, have had the Wild Blueberry stated as being the best of the fruits, by giving 13,427 antioxidants per serving. And for the vegetables having had the Read Bean stated as the best, by giving 13,727 per serving. So in this for me newest reading there has been some interesting rearranging in my knowledge.Trough out the sides there are mentioned interested results from studies, but as Jan McBarron writes, "We are looking forwards getting more study results for coming". But we already learn something, for example, as written in chapter 6, that in India the rate of Alzheimer's diseases, for people having the age of 70 to 79, only are one-quarter compared to for the people who in USA are having the same age. And this even for the persons, in India, who only are eating the carry once a month!By www, in Amazon looking in the actual book, we can not read many sides, but on the side with telling about the contents we for example read that in chapter 1 we get "What Is Curcumin and How Does it Work?" And here we learn how the oxidation and inflammation causes the diseases. And that the Heart disease, Cancer, Diabetes, Osteoarthritis, Alzheimer's disease, and Dementia are some of the actual diseases caused by oxidation. And separate in the following chapters we get more information concerning each of these diseases, and what Curcumin can help.And then for example in the chapter 2, which is having the title "Curcumin and Cancer", we among other read that in an Indian study the persons who were given 500 milligrams a day in just a week increased their good Cholesterol (HDL) by 29 %. And in this chapter it's also interestingly how Curcumin can help against strokes, that is, even by delivered it in up to 3 hours after having the stroke. Thereby the brain cells not being damaged.And in chapter 4, with "Curcumin and Cancer", we among other get a list with types of cancer for which Curcumin has been scientifically validated. And in this list there are 15 cancer names, and of course including the Breast Cancer.On side 6, we finish the chapter 1 under the headline "All Curcumin is not created equal". And here we learn that in chapter 9 we will read about the supplements Curamin and CuraMed which contains BCM-95. And that these are up ten times more absorbable than the standard 95 % Curcumin extract! And then, in the chapter 9 starting on side 35, we first get some telling about the original Curcumin opposite to BCM-95. Then follow a short writings concerning some results to the effectiveness in connection to Depression, Osteoarthritis (joint pain), Rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's disease. And then on side 38 we learn what's inside the Curcamin. This on the next side is followed by "Curcamin PM-Sleep Away Your Pain" and "CuraMed". And under "CuraMed" it's written that this delivers up to 1,000 % more bioavailable than Curcumin standardized to 95 %.As the writer finish it: "The healing powers of Curcumin are more than impressive", in which I only can agree. But we don't have any of the BCM-95's here in Thailand, and as being a civilian person I'm not allowed to buy pills or drugs from other countries! So I must try to get doctors or drugstores persuaded to get it to Thailand. But in any case it has shown up to be a good thing (and it helps) that during the, until now, 10 years being here in Thailand, we nearly daily, in the national food have been using some Curcumin.

THIS IS A MUST READ!!! Curcumin has proven its value in treating a wide variety of illnesses, diseases and other health disorders. We need to be our own health advocates and research natural remedies before we consume unnecessary prescription drugs, not only for their high costs, but the serious side effects they cause. For centuries, curcumin has been a dietary staple of the people of India; and that this spice can prevent, treat and cure a wide variety of serious diseases. Substantial research has found curcumin to have healing powers due to the exceptional antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. In a nutshell....oxidation and inflammation cause diseases. I highly recommend you purchase this book....it's not far-fetched!!

Helpful and practical information
Nice information about the tumeric extract circumin. Easy to take in pill form and relatively affordable. Antioxidants are found in many fruits and vegetables. The antioxidants promote general health and can reduce risk of cancer. Popular antioxidants also include pomegranate concentrate. The issue I've found, though, is that circumin has to be combined with a good diet, exercise, and proper sleep. Over-reliance on supplements can occur, but the only down side is typically just some extra spending. Tumeric is often used in Indian food.

Very brief but excellent
This is a very small book which I read very quickly.I have been using Tumeric at different times for the last 7 years. I was told by my doctor to buy it from Walmart as and alternative to him giving me hydrocortisone injections in all my finger jointsI decided to do that and within one month I was pain free.I started to make my own remedy with the addition of black pepper, almond milk and honey, which makes the Tumeric more palatable and potent. It had an amazing affect on me. My thinking became much better, I lost weight and I generally felt fantastic.I took it 2 times a day for several months.Eventually I decided I didn't need it any more. But I always returned to it for joint inflammation.A long time after I had an accident and the doctor suggested I try it again as nothing else is helping me. After a few days I started to notice a difference and a couple of weeks later I barely have any pain. I was surprised to find that the manufacturers now add black pepper to their remedies, so I bought them again from Walmart.I read this book with great interest, and was pleased to see how much Tumeric can help us with many conditions.This is my story and it may not help everyone, so always check with your doctor before taking.I also take a lot of vitamin C which I personally think adds to the working of Tumeric in my body.Again that is my experience and something you see need to enquire about.Enjoy this book and I hope your health develops through sensible medical exploration and advice as to what the right steps are for you to take on your journey to wellness.

A good read
If you are interested in being painfree, because of back surgery and not getting any pain meds from my surgeon, I started with dmso which took care of my back pain but didn't smell so good, went to msm and curcumin, no smell and also took care of my bone on bone pain in my shoulder indicated by an mri
