I've purchased this products multiple times and it has become a mainstay in my medicine cabinet and health routines. Being sold on the health benefits of colloidal silver, I am even more impressed with the many practical uses of this quality gel. The possibilities for applications of this gel are potentially endless! We have applied ASAP 365 Gel as a wound cleansing and protectant, to soothe and calm the effects of insect bites, for quick relief and healing of sunburns, to relieve and eliminate toe and nail fungus, to calm skin rashes, as a healthy hair gel for great shine and manageability, to line dentures for relief and healing of mouth sores and, most impressive, (applied in conjunction with high orac essential oils) to successfully heal open MRSA sores! It has replaced other products as antiseptic any time a bandaid must be applied over an open wound. In every case, we were pleasantly impressed (to outright astounded) at the favorable results. The gel is clear, non-staining, with no noticeable odor. Colloidal silver can take on a slight tint as it ages (that's just the nature of silver) but we have always continued to use it with no negative results. It goes on smoothly and is instantly cooling, calming, soothing. ASAP 365 Gel is one of my all-time favorite discoveries!

I did some research and stumbled onto the idea of combining silver gel, with tea tree to prevent cold sores. This really works, better than Lysine supplements. I put a drop of this silver gel on my lips and around my mouth, let it dry a minute then apply Desert Essence tea tree lip balm over that, morning and night if I'm going in public, especially. I must say I also am diligent with using shopping cart wipes when available, and hand sanitizer when visiting mother in assisted living, avoiding public door handles, etc, as we all know to do. But even with all that, (especially when traveling, there is a remarkable difference in the number of cold sore outbreaks and the intensity when I do get them. Hope this helps someone avoid those horrid mouth sores!!
