The frame is sturdy like you wouldn't believe, but did not stay latched when we needed it most. We were fostering a violent dog, and needed an unchewable kennel to house him when we were away. He got out and attacked our dog. He was twice her size, she didnt stand a chance. She lived, by playing dead, and 700 dollars in vet bills later she is able to walk again.The latches are flimsy little sheet metal and loose, unless you lock both with a padlock.We made the mistake of trusting the latches and we regret it. Buy at your own risk.

I had to upgrade my existing folding metal crate because it was rusting and my dog would get his mouth stuck in the bars. We opt'd for this crate because of the thick, vertical bars that my dog could not bite. The crate is heavy and easy to put together but I was missing screws and could not install the bottom latch (see photo). I contacted the seller and sent them the same picture and advised them I was missing the screws for the lower latch. I got the seller replacement screws fairly quick but they were the wrong ones. The seller sent me the bolts and nuts that are used to assemble the crate and not the tiny screws for the latch. I ended going to our local hardware store, because I couldn't wait for the seller to send me the correct ones, and bought screws. I gave this crate four stars because of the missing hardware.

We have a pitbull/husky mix who managed to destroy two cages. The first was a very basic metal cage and and the second one had slightly thicker bars and more sophisticated latch system opening. We regret not making this our second purchase after she broke out of her first. The cost of the two cages that she broke ended up equalling to this cage. Since purchasing this cage our Houdini has not managed to escape by breaking this cage and it has held up fabulously. She very quickly learned that the cage could not be bent or broken. Although my one negative comment is the latches on this cage are very easy to unlock but there is a quick fix to this, the latches have a hole at the bottom to fit a small lock which makes for a secure fitting. I was recommended this cage by a close friend and would definitely recommend this cage to anyone else! Mind you this cage is a bit large and bulky but it has wheels which come in handy

The frame is good, but the crate itself is useless without purchasing extra parts and upgrades. You will need extra screws for the latches as you need 8, but it only comes with four. No one will answer the phone number or email on the instructions, so you have to go to Home Depot to get them yourself. Once the latches are installed, you will need to putchase metal rods or a padlock because the latches can be easily pushed open by your dog. It took mine 3 min.If I didn't have to spend an hour extra getting extra items to make it operable, it would have got 5 stars.

Our dog is a major chewer and is very smart. He has chewed his way out of a plastic crate and has both escaped and broken out of a metal wire crate. We were frustrated and concerned for his safety and the safety of items in our home. The Gelinzon crate has been a life saver! He is trying to chew his way out but cannot even dent the bars. He is only able to scratch the finish.The first crate we received from Gelinzon had a piece that was not soldered in place. When we contacted them and sent a picture, they immediately and quickly sent us another crate which was in perfect condition! Great customer service and a great product!

Our dog originally named Frankie turn to Spanky. Smarter than a box of rocks I'll tell you that much bought a wire cage he fit his snout through it! He trashed it, never mind many of things around the house! We bought this item and I can guarantee you it is the best! What's the best, locking Wheels. He can't fit the snout through it, nice heavy galvanized steel we can buy dog feeders to attach to the side and then you have to buy a fence Bolt to keep them figuring out how to just unlatch is because Spanky figured out how to unlatch the lock latches. I found some feeders that are stainless steel and attached to the cage and have metal instead of plastic do not buy plastic ,plastic sucks!!!

Arrived with 3 welds on back broken loose. Was less trouble to put back with screws and nut than to return. Couldn't get wheels to lock so just took off and added some felt to protect floor. Other than these, it seems to be well made. Setup is easy. Ours wasn't true black kind of dark brown. So far our 68 lb. Baby hasn't tried to escape and loves it!!

If you need a sturdy crate, this will work for most dogs. It has worked for mine. But as others have said, do not be surprised if you have missing parts. Mine came with no screws for the second door lock. I have spent more than a couple weeks trying to get them from the company. And they seem to be specialized screws because I could not find a match at my local hardware store. So just keep this in mind.
