Pasilla Bajio - Capsicum annum. The name "Pasilla" means "little raisin" in Spanish, referring to the dark brown, wrinkled dried pod. Also known as Chilaca when picked fresh. Slightly sweet with a distinctive slender shape and a unique rich, full flavor, it is a key ingredient in mole, the Mexican holiday sauce from Oaxaca. Heat level is Mild at 1000-2000 Scoville. Peppers are 8" - 10" long on productive 30" plants. Plant in full sun in fertile well draining soil. 85 days to maturity.

I brought Pepperoncini, Pasilla Bajio, Paprika-Sweet, Hatch Green Chile-Med, Chimayo, Shishito and I planted the seeds directly as stated: 85 degress, light/heat mat, 1/4 loose well-drained soil and kept them moist but not anywhere near soggy. NOTHING happened. I waited 8 days to no avail. I started another set of seeds same exact results. I emailed the company, with the exact reason for the communication as well as requesting a call back. Some person emails me from their, IPHONE no less, asking me what the problem was. They left no name or number to call them back. I cannot locate a number for the horrendous company and I plan to blog about how terrible their products are as well as their non-existent customer service.
