Great value for the price! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Needs Some Additional Padding But Works Well *by S***R on February 23, 2026* I bought this mount to put onto my boat tower. It's simple enough and does the job, install was easy. If you're mounting it onto something that isn't a big deal for scratches, it's fine as-is. This mount leaves some metal-to-metal contact with the extinguisher and tower. I added some thin drink coozies to help keep them from touching, but it's probably worth getting some thinner roll bar padding. It really only needs to be on the extinguisher side to give it a little cushion and space. Having a little extra layer will also allow for more of the strap to be used. The straps were a little long for my tower and the bar diameter isn't small. Other than that, the mount works well and the hook & loop bond is strong. I wanted to mount it in a high visibility spot for USCG/Marine Patrol inspections as well as safety. Having it in a visible location vs the gear lockers made more sense to me.
