It is farm raised. The package says "wild salmon" but not "wild caught". If it doesn't say wild caught than it is farm raised. I always eat wild caught only but I wanted some salmon in a pouch and this is all the store I was at had. I could immediately tell a difference in the color, taste, and smell. This is definitely farm raised, does not taste anywhere near as good as wild caught. **Q: Can anyone share experience re time to expiration dates on pckg. Hoping for 3 +/- yrs. None listed here. Thanks** A: On this past order all 12 packages had an expiration date of June 2016. We have already gone through 6 packages. I really don't think that they are going to last until then.
