Do these candles have the clear plastic base or the tin base?

It is *not* a tin base. The base, or cup, is aluminum.

What are these candles made of? They seem very soft, greasy, and not like real wax at all.

Not sure, but I agree they are not made of wax - they are terrible candles. They leak all over the place and I have since purchased different tea lights - avoid these!

if these are the same ones that i buy from IKEA, then they burn for 4 hours. they are only $5.99 at IKEA, if you are lucky enough to live by one.

If you have genuine Ikea candles, they should burn for 4 hours+, but counterfeit Ikea candles burn for only 2 hours.Genuine Ikea candles look real Ikea, easy to tell, but fake ones come with suspicious American flag sticker and little home made inkjet printed sticker that says Ikea Glimma on the package.

Best tealight option ever

I've been using this for years and it never disappoints. The wax is very neutral in its smell and doesn't bother the lungs in terms of smell (as opposed to petroleum-based wax). Also, the size is great (as opposed to other cheap-skate tealights which skimp on size, with half the height)

Lasts really long!!!

I liked this product. It burns for a really long time without residue or smoke. Only after using it you will know. I didn't believe it at first but it's true. Wish they made this product in scented tealights too.
