Excellent mouse
This mouse works flawlessly with Windows 8. It is sleek looking and tracks, extremely well. I did return it for 2 reasons that are not huge deals but did not do well for my workflow (music production). First is it was too small for me as I have larger hands. Second was the lack of automatic on/off. There is a switch on the bottom and if it darker in the room it is difficult to see. If you forget to switch it off though I believe it shuts down power so the battery does not drain.Overall a really good little mouse that just did not work with my flow.

All you need in a mouse for under $20
This mouse is perfect for the price! Light weight, adjustable DPI, and the perfect size for me. For less than $20, this mouse is a steal! The only bad thing I would say about this mouse is that the USB receiver is a bit flimsy (mine is falling apart after a few months), but for a $15 mouse that has worked so well, I cannot complain too much about that.

it likes to disconnect.
i'm being a nice guy by giving this mouse 3 stars. i came here to give it 1 or 2.i usually use a logitech couch mouse, but mine developed the dreaded "double click" issue and i've been trying to stay away from logitech because of that. i'm using the mouse with linux mint 17.1.let's do a pro/con to speed this up:pros:- it tracks great. with the dpi set to the middle speed and the sensitivity set to high, this mouse is as smooth as silk and very accurate.- looks cool- all buttons work great and are very crisp and precise. the scroll wheel is just dandy.- works on my tee shirt.- cheapcons:- repeatedly loses it's connection to itself. this is a constant thing. no matter what i try, this thing will abruptly stop working and i have to cycle the power switch to get it working again. this isn't the fault of the o.s., this is the mouse losing the connection between itself and the receiver. not sleeping--it just cuts out. it's very frustrating.- it's too light.- it's a bit small. no big deal here, i just wish it was a little biggeri'll still try to use it and i'll try to come back at a later date to update this review.

absolute junk!
update 5-8-14This mouse is garbage, the back cracked open and had to be taped down, the battery door broke so it's neirly impossible to replace the battery, and the the battery slides around so it stops working. The laser on the bottom has moved around too so it doesn't line up anymore. They make it look nice, but the plastic is the cheapest possible. DO NOT BUY!! I love how they give a 2 year guarentee, what am I going to do, pay $6 to ship my $12 mouse for repair?!? how about making it high quality the first time.maybe my old mouse was larger than normal, but this one is pretty small for my big hand. I'm 6'2. Works nice though, mouse click is slightly loud.

The unit I received was obviously used
There's signs of wear on the glide pads and there was some sort of filth all over the top of the mouse. The quality is perplexing; the mouse overall feels very cheap, like it would break with very little pressure, but it feels great in the hand and has a nice finish. The 4th & 5th button are probably the worst part of the design. They feel SUPER weak but seem to take some abuse. I will have to update my review after some time with this unit. Would be 4 stars of I actually got a new one.Update: This mouse is actually great! the clicks are very satisfying, the ergonomics are decent , and the 4th & 5th buttons are holding up fantastic! I would definitely buy this mouse again... Would be 5 stars, but it was kinda gross when I first got it.

Once I did that it worked great. It's responsive and operates nicely
I got this as a replacement for my old mouse and it works well. I took me a while to figure that I had to push the DPI button on the bottom to control how quickly the mouse moved. Once I did that it worked great. It's responsive and operates nicely. Well worth the price IMHO.

Spend a few extra bucks and avoid the headaches
First the good:Mouse is pretty comfortable, although pretty small. The little rubber pads on the side feel nice on the fingers. And the side buttons are in a nice location. The clicks are a nice pleasant tone/volume and don't bother me like some of the cheaper mice out there. It looks very visually appealing, i got the red and black option. Now the bad:I had mine quit after only 4 months. The middle mouse wheel scroll would jump all over the place. Changed the battery, updated driver etc, it was the mouse that was the issue. So i got on the website and found the customer service email. Here begins the run around. He gave me a phone number to talk to. I called (many times) and got no response. After about a week and many voice mails the guy finally calls me back. I ended up getting a replacement. Now this new mouse the middle wheel is very stiff. Clicking and scrolling has a lot more resistance than you would expect. Maybe because its new, but i haven't had this issue with any other mice. Also, they advertise a 18 month battery life. No idea where they're getting that number from. I use mine for work, an average of 40 hours a week. My battery was dead within 3 months. The button to adjust the DPI is located on the bottom, and somehow I would randomly hit that while using the mouse.Overall a decent mouse for the price. A few issues but you get what you pay for i suppose. Next time I will spend a few extra dollars and get a quality mouse from a trusted manufacturer.

Great for universal use!
I got this mouse for daily use and started using it for gaming after my old mouse gave out. I love the rubber feeling that provides some decent grip. It works well on a ton of different surfaces (desk, blanket, pant leg, etc.). The battery has actually lasted quite a while thanks to the on/off switch and the different DPI settings are great for switching from gaming to browsing the internet. The scroll wheel isn't too loose like a few of the other mouses I've tried out. My only complaint is the back/forth buttons which are too sensitive that I would accidentally press from time to time when I first got it. After about a week that stopped being a problem though.
