Great value for the money
Installed in 5 minutes fits standard peep hole. This photo was at night, with 50% porch light. Screen is detailed enough to display accurate features. No bells or whistles just a large screen displayed after 1 push of the button in 2 seconds. This is not wifi, Bluetooth, night vision, or motion. It does not take photos or record video. It does allow you a large realtime view of who is on the other side of the door, in color. This is a great supplement for home security CCTV system. The second photo is day time. One megapixel is fine for a 7 foot deep porch.

Great digital Peep Hole - DOES NOT LAST
UPDATE: Peephole has died after 10 months. Multiple emails to the seller asking for warranty assistance only resulted in them telling me to buy a new one. That's not going to happen.Really great device for what I was looking for. I simply wanted a digital peep hole. This does not record or have motion activation. My doorbell camera does that. So if you are looking for just a very clear digital doorbell with a large screen for viewing - this is the perfect product. Plus, it is easy to install. If you are looking for a device to record or detect motion - this is not the product you want.

Easy to install
We've been using this for about a day now so no long term to report, but will update as needed.- Installation was easy - we already had a peephole, so just unscrewed the old one and popped this in its place. There was no need to mount anything directly to the door (so it could be removed later if necessary without patching)- Four AAA batteries required, but not included. No big. Would be nice if it was rechargeable, but I used rechargeable batteries so I can swap out and recharge as needed. Not sure what the battery life is like at this point.- Does not work at night, even with the porch light on the picture is terrible (and we have dual lights on our porch, so theres plenty of 'extra light') Wasn't expecting greatness, though.- The lag between pressing the button to see who is outside is a bit longer than I'd prefer. Its a little annoying, but again, not terrible. Faster than loading up my nest app to see the doorbell camera view, but could be a touch faster.- The camera on the outside looks nice, guests can't tell it's a camera & it blends nicely with the door. All in, it shows its price range quality. For $40, it's nice, but could be better (though would probably cost more)

Simple to Use
This peep hole cam is exactly what I was looking for. The price is right. The image quality is very good. And the viewing angle works for my door/porch configuration. It's easy to install too. And because the unit is on stand by until you press the video button, the battery will last a long time, I assume. When activated, it takes only 2 seconds to see who's at the door. Other reviewers say 5 secs. I'm not sure why. It's really only 2 seconds. This peep hole camera only has the image on screen for 5 seconds and then turns off. Keep in mind that it doesn't do anything else. I have other video cameras to record, and have night vision. Therefore, I didn't need a peep hole cam to record or do other things except to see who's at the front door quickly. And this camera does the job well. I highly recommend it.

GOOD DOOR VIEWER VERY FEW FEATURE.
When you push the on button there is too much of a leg before it come the screen comes on.Also it timed out in 5 seconds and has no recording capapility.

Works just barely
The video screen is slow to react. The video is low quality and it is difficult to determine who is in front of the door. I still have this peep hole viewer in the door but I have since installed the Nest Hello to see who is at my front door.Again it works but not as good as I would have expected the viewer is the size of a phone but the video quality matches a phone from 10 years ago.

Works Very well
Got it and was surprised at the ease of installation. Replaced my old peep hole and was up and running within minutes. The image is surprisingly sharp and detailed for the price of this device. Have had it several months and haven't had any problems. Would highly recommend it as a substitute for the traditional peep hole which at times was difficult to see properly through.

Buy a better product.
Cheap... You have to press the button to see outside. The screen only stays on for a very short time. There is no recording or motion sensors that I saw. We returned it. Not worth the price.
