Being disabled and living in a rural area having dogs is sometimes a challenge for me. Due to the increase of the coyote population, I just can't let my dogs go out to walk, play or explore by themselves. I use a mobility scooter which limits some activities. I had no problem putting on my old duty belt so I could carry a gun, but that got old real fast. I was on facebook and was asking friends about how I could attach my shotgun to my scooter. Did I mention that the coyotes are very active around here? So, a friend suggested these, something I was unaware that existed. I ordered a pair. The only place they would fit was on the handle bar grips. With my shotgun secured by these it does hamper navigating turns, accessing the basket, the key and restricts my space for my hands on the handle bars. But, I love it compared to not having my shotgun with me. These do work. Bouncing about out in the fields my shotgun stays secured and it is always right there for when I will need it. Great product!

These items are great, they hold tools and equipment securely and have multiple applications, the only reason that I gave them four stars and not five, is the bolt holes on two of the sets I ordered were not properly aligned and the bolts are cheap mild steel and will strip or break very easily.

I have a Polaris Ranger and a Suzuki 4 Wheeler, and was excited when I saw these mounts. I thought this was a good price for what are normally rather expensive mounts. I received the set quickly, and went to the garage to decide where I was going to mount these. The "U" brackets are too small to go around any of the pipes on the Ranger, so I won't be able to use it anywhere on that. The "U" brackets are too large to go around the racks on the Suzuki 4 wheeler, they are not tight at all and just spin, so I won't be using it on that either. Not sure what I can even do with these things are they are simply the wrong size for any standard ATV.
