Professional Apple Fruit Picker Basket With Cushion to Prevent Bruising

A few months back, I purchased a similar picker/w extension pole from my local Home Depot, unfortunately after the first use it separated weld from the base. At over $50 for both the catcher and pole, it was returned.This basket is much better quality made, thicker gage than the one I purchased, and I noticed that the welded bracket was much better than previous one. I used and old paint extension pole and added a couple of screws to widen the pole to accommodate the basket closure and tightened the collar, and it works perfectly.

I couldn’t get it attached to our pole, but then I shimmed it and it stayed tight. This one worked best of all the contraptions we tried.

This picker sure bets climbing a ladder to pick apples. What also great you can use it to pick up apples off the ground. You can pick 3 good size apples each time. Well worth it. I attached it to a painters pole for a longer reach. Great value, quality construction and quick delivery. Note the foam pad I didn’t use. I keeps moving around but without it you get one more Apple in the basket.

Like the fact that it is easy to use, just get the hooks above fruit and simple twist. Had pole from wore out roof rack so just needed the basket. Attaching it is simple, use the included hose clamp. Did add a 2nd clamp that I had. The foam cushion help keeps the fruit from getting bruised. Made it lot easier picking pears this year.

Once I got a pole to attach this to it work really nice.
