A few years ago, Sheryl chanced upon an article on the dangers of plastic leaching into food. It struck her that, while she was making sure her family eats well, she could be unknowingly harming them with all the plastic wrap she’s using in the kitchen. She cares about the environment and has always opted for eco-friendly alternatives. When it struck her that plastic could be affecting the health of her loved ones, it propelled her to take further action. Naturally, she started in the place that’s close to her heart- the kitchen. The first thing she did was to throw away all the saran wraps and started developing her own reusable food wraps using only 100% organic cotton and premium ingredients. She started giving the wraps to her friends who fell in love with them. That’s when Bumblebee was born. Bumblebee represents the love that propels us to protect our loved ones and our shared environment. ❤️ 🐝Our MissionWe hope to inspire a community of Plastic-Free Warriors to join in our cause of eradicating plastic, one Bumblebee at a time. Join us today and help us spread the word!  Our Chief Plastic-Free Warrior Ruth has prepared videos on how to use and wash your Bumblebee—Pls scroll below to “Related Video Shorts” to check them out!

Better than cling wrap!
I bought these wraps when my friend tagged me in Bumblebee Wrap’s IG post. She was super in love with Bumblebee Wrap because she thinks it’s a new brand but much better than the other beeswax wraps she has spent on (She’s a self-proclaimed “eco-nut” that is always in the forefront of sustainable alternatives and has probably tried all the beeswax wraps out there, ok maybe MOST of the beeswax wraps out there).According to my friend, Bumblebee Wrap smells better, is less sticky on the hands, and has managed to keep her fruits longer.Since it came so highly recommended by my friend who’s an expert in these things, I decided to just give it a try since our family is trying to cut down on waste. When I received my package, my first impression was: what a beautifully packaged cotton bag! I saw the other packaging in the market and mostly they were just brown paper. Cotton bag looks much better (I mean, I want to save the earth but it’s of course a bonus if it looks good too…..) The packaging also reusable and more earth friendly! I was quite happy with it and thought that if the wraps really work, I will start buying them as gifts. Hopefully I can also encourage others to live more sustainably through my “Eco-gifting”.The cloth of the beeswax wrap was beautiful- very organic and authentic looking. Its not dyed so it actually looks MORE premium, not like the unnatural colors in some other wraps that I’ve seen around. (which sometimes worry me - not sure what they use for those dyes). The wrap smells like honey!!!Because I’m new to this, I watched the related video to find out how to properly use the wrap. It was indeed quite easy to get the hang of it. It’s actually quite fun to meddle around with it!I like them MUCH better than plastic cling wrap or aluminium foil for covering bowls because it has a much better “grip” around the bowls. They really stick themselves to the bowl! Also, it’s quite thin, which is good because it’s more malleable. So far I have used them for a few weeks. I like them most on cheese because I think it’s even better than cheese paper in keeping the cheese fresh and it doesn’t need tape. Needless to say, it’s MUCH better than saran wraps.I wash it with cool water and a bit of soap. Fuss-free and takes less than 5 mins and done! I can reuse and I’m one step closer to ZERO WASTE! Makes me feel better doing my small part for the earth 😊

Highly Recommended
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Got my wrap last week and have used it a few times for leftover vegetables ! Works great to keep the vegetables fresh in the fridge . The wrap dries in about twenty mins after I wash them ! Loving this product !

This is just one piece - but overall I am pleased
I didn't really know what to expect with this as I bought it on a whim, so I just have several notes. I haven't used it more than once, so I cannot do a full review.1) Even though it clearly says it is Beeswax Wrap (and not wraps), since the picture I was looking at had two pieces, I thought there would be more.2) But I also thought these would be much thinner and they aren't - they are quite sturdy.3) I had a question for the vendor and I sent it to her and she answered me right away - I like that.4) Although it wasn't clear to me what was meant when the instructions said "heat from your hands," the video that was sent explained it really well.5) A little disappointed when I realized that this won't last forever (which of course I should have known because it is biodegradable).6) I think I will buy some for my parents.

One item crossed off the Getting Rid of Single Use Items list.
Plain design, simple ingredients (do read these if there are food allergies in your home--this is the first one I found that didn't have cinnamon oil in it--something I'm allergic to). They work well, coming in enough sizes to fit on most bowls and cut veggies. They clean off easily. Best of all, they cut costs and help the environment as I don't have to buy plastic wrap anymore. They make me feel like a better human.

I will never use cling film again!!
These are great. I have used one a few times now and it really does stick well, keeps my food nice and fresh, and best of all I no longer have to feel guilty for using cling film! I have only reused the same wrap a few times so far, but I do believe it will last for the 150-200 uses as described as long as no harsh soaps or too hot water us used for cleaning. This seller also had (in my opinion) the best value for the quality and quantity of wraps. NOTE: if you examine the wrap after some use and notice little dark flecks it's NOT mold!! That's how they look new. I got nervous for a second before I realized this.

Good for the environment
It's easy to wash and dry. It sticked to container well. I purchased the one piece and three pieces separately. When I need to cover a larger plate, I use two pieces together. Seem to work well, no leak.

Easy to use and a tree is planted with each purchase!
I’ve only used these a couple times, but I already love them. They’ve kept a cut apple fresh, and are easy to use. I love that the company plants a tree with each purchase as well! We will be buying more so we can completely cut our plastic wrap use. There’s so need for it when we have these. Excited to try different sizes. Also a plus: they are organic and dye free which is great!
