This rebuild kit on the surface looks like it would be great...and don't get me wrong its ok, but not great.the pros are it does have the full 360 degree thrust bearing which is nice... the bearings seem to be ok, although there was a very tiny amount of play, but that could be from my existing shaft. The shaped O ring fit perfectly as did the oil control rings. It also comes with a new compressor wheel that does seem to make maybe .5 more psi of boost over the OE one...its hard to say for sure, but it does have a bit more whine than before the rebuild.cons are the spacer shaft I could not use and had to reuse my original one, but my turbo does have the 1.15 and 1.0 setup so if you have the smaller one, you will be fine. The turbo pedestal O rings were not right for late 99 up design and I had to order those once I received this kit and realized they wouldn't work for me. My biggest gripe is the bolts which was a big reason I bought this kit. The bolts are extremely poor quality and I have little confidence in them holding up and zero confidence in them coming out ok for the next rebuild as the 12 point heads are poorly made. I ended up buying a full set of original Garrett bolts for piece of mind. Ive only had it rebuilt for a couple hundred miles but so far so good.

I got a new turbine once a piece of the old one fell out and figured I'd rebuild the whole thing. Before I even took it completely apart I realized the my new turbine and compressor wheel were not going to be compatible. Wasn't sure which part didn't match and turns out the compressor wheel does not have the same threading as the one that came out of my turbo. Will just toss it and reuse. Been waiting too long to get it back together so I lose again. Bolts are trash too.

This kit is not a complete rebuild as advertised. Many of the parts provided are not the right ones. You will need to reuse some parts and buy orings somewhere else. Having your turbo torn down is not the time to find this out. For parts provided, they seemed good quality. I got too few bolts, the wrong sized orings, missing orings, the spindal spacer was too long, etc. I have no idea how seller came up with these parts as being correct, but they are not. With that being said, I did get my turbo back together and everything seemed to work.

This is the worse purchase i have had in my life its made so cheap if you thred it onto the compressor shaft to test fitment it will seaze right up i did not cross thred lucky the shaft is steal and this is aluminum i was able to cut it off and wedge it off and save the compressor spend a extra 20 get a better one this soda can cut put is not worth it

Not really a good quality part, but you get what you pay for, shipping was quick but i would recommend buying something with more quality, finished rebuilding a turbo and yes, all new fresh parts, but it had more play in it than it did with the old parts

This kit worked well for me, the only exceptions I have are that the bolt heads felt like they would round too easily. This is an issue since the torque specs for my turbo were only less than 30 foot pounds per bolt.

Bought for the price, should of spend more than money on a quality kit. Circlip was the wrong size for the turbine. Packaging and shipping were great, but will buy another kit from a better brand.

Good price., but no correct description not all the parts are correct they won't fit u have to use the old ones
