Book light

This little light arrived only about 18 hours after placing the order. It is perfect for the job it has been designed for. As I received it at lunchtime, I went into the darkest room in the house to test it, needless to say it worked perfectly. The effect it provides creates for the user a small cocooned area of bright light, so creating a real sense of cosiness whilst giving a lovely light just perfect for reading. Far better than illuminating a whole room with a bigger light which normally upsets others sharing the space.

I love reading in a cosy intimate room and in my bed and I have a kindle but sometimes a friend will lend me a book or I’ll buy one. The lamp does the job.... but I must admit that when the battery is brand new the light is very bright and may bother your partner who tries to sleep nearby (you can’t soften the light as with a kindle) and if you are a big reader the battery fades quickly (after a week of daily use).

Love this!! Has made my pre-sleep reading so much easier than having to keep adjusting so my pages face the bedside lamp. I can also use it anywhere else I go too as it's nice enough to double up as a bookmark and very light!

A worthy winner of 'Gift of the Year', this does exactly what it claims to, a perfect book light, book mark, easy to use, great to look at and as light as a feather. There are so many brilliant designs to choose from for adults and children. Fantastic customer service, excellent seller, immediate delivery and a very reasonable price for such a high quality item. very cute, light is perfect and bright for bedtime reading with my son - so I don't have to put bright over-head lights on to keep him calm. I also use when i read late at night not to disturb my son.

I have used other types before but this one betters it 100%. How I ever went without a proper book light one wonders. I am also using it with my paintings and adult colouring books.

My daughter reads like it's going out of fashion every night at bed time. She has the light off as her younger sister (in the same room) is trying to get to sleep, so she has this book light instead. It is perfect in every way, except for the battery life. With fresh batteries it starts out at a perfect brightness, but within a few days it goes very dim. My daughter still has good eyes so she can still read in this dim light but it means I have to change the batteries every couple of weeks. The light takes two CR2016 batteries which it comes with, but you'll need to order a lot of them to keep it going.We gave up with it and ordered a USB rechargeable lamp instead.

I wanted a nice little book light so I could read without it waking up my partner, and thought I’d found the perfect solution here! But Jesus Christ, this light is so dam bright you could make aliens in outer space think it’s a human distress beacon with how blindingly powerful it is. No way is it suitable for using with another person right next to you.As light as it is, it won’t even stay on my dam book! I have to hold it to keep it in place... then when it slips I temporarily loose my eye sight. Unfortunately a waste of money for me and will never get used again. Well, it was probably worth it in my partners eyes for the laugh it gave him watching me suffer and struggle with it. :I
