Direct Replacement for Squier CV
A direct replacement, fitted to replace stock Squier Classic Vibe (current 2025 Indonesian made) Esquire. I imagine itโs the same as the other Strat and Tele shaped models in the range.They went straight in, no need to change the ferrules on the headstock; I also reused the original screws to hold them to the headstock.These tuners are positive-feeling without being too tight. They also have more of a look of the old 50โs/60โs they emulate.A highly beneficial, cost-effective and easy to DIY upgrade.

Beware
The quality seems fine enough but they donโt fit a Tokai Goldstar Strat without filling the existing screw holes on the headstock and drilling smaller ones in the same spot. The screws for the original Tokai pegs donโt fit through the holes in these replacements.

Missing parts
I received the tuning heads fine and they fit my neck perfectly. However, the product came missing the ferrules and bushings to properly insert it in my neck hence why I'm giving it 3 stars.

Do not buy, worst product ever
Very bad product. 3 out 6 splint broken. Now the guitar neck is ruined after put it them on. Do not buy. I wish there was the option for 0 stars

Specs are a bit off and sloppy construction
Measurements for fender or fender licensed necks are a bit off which means you need to do a bit of work to make them fit.Tuning stability is so so

Great price for "locking" tuners!
These tuners look and work just like the Vintage Fender originals. Tuning is very solid. Function as locking tuners with the split shaft. I use these a lot on my conversions and rebuilds. Very happy with the product

Solid and not expensive
They fit my MIM Strat neck perfectly. Actually, bushings were 0.1-0.2mm too small, so I applied a bit of wood glue around them, let it dry for several hours and they fit snug (if you don't let glue dry then bushings will stuck to the holes). All tuners aligned with existing screw holes perfectly. Screws themselves are a bit on small-ish side, but can't complain for the price. Worst case you add a bit of wood glue in each hole, let it dry and then the thin screws fit like a glove
