The description says it’s porcelain, but the actual box says it’s ceramic. Which by the looks of it, it looks like it is ceramic (as what the box says) rather than porcelain. Also, two of the plates have rust stain on them...which I’m not happy about. I don’t think this set passed QC, plates were not shaped the same...as well as the small plates. It is not as light as I was expecting it to be. I just don’t want to bother sending it back, it’s so inconvenient to do so. The only good thing about it is that, it was delivered safely.

I bought these plates as a gift for my very picky sister, whom i love and adore, as a housewarming gift. She wanted white plates, but she's got a garden theme for her apartment so i thought they'd fit well. I was super nervous because she is very picky, but she "actually really likes them" her words, not mine. They're light, yet sturdy, and pretty. Nothing crazy or overwhelming, just simple white dishes with a little something so that they aren't boring. Perfect if you're looking for pretty dishes that hold up well that aren't expensive.

I am very happy with this tableware. It is not too heavy, the mugs are a nice shape and I like that the dinner plates are a reasonable size not huge as some styles seem to be trending toward. I have used it in the microwave and so far have not found that it overheats which can be an issue with some dinnerware. I wanted a set for everyday use and this fits that requirement perfectly for me.

Chose this set because it was simple but vibrant and it did not fail! However, one of the plates was broke so had to return. I'm so sick of trying to find a small, lightweight dinnerware set through Amazon only to get something that's broke or defective and has to be returned. This is the 5th set. Will try to find a local source.

I really like my new set of dishes, very pretty, I wanted something nice with a little bit of design but not one that was too wild or busy, these are just right.would buy again, also microwave and dishwasher safe, just what I need, it also says freezer safe but im not going to put them in the freezer.

Really like the simple Poppy pattern, however... upon opening the barely taped AMAZON PRIME way too big box, there was a small bit of brown paper around the box of 16 piece glass dishwate. One plate crumbled, one coffee mug handle off. No “fragile, or indication glass was in the box. Not Happy, can’t give as a wedding gift now.

I bought this dinnerware for myself and I am actually going to order a second set just to have extra for company. It is very nice and heavy. It's a little smaller than I thought and the bowls are the new modern type instead of the deep round type. The design is simple yet very pretty. I would not recommend this set for a family with children. They are breakable and do not have to type of bowl that is really kid friendly. For a couple or a single person a perfect choice.

Absolutely lovely set. I am in love with this dinnerware set. One thing though, I found red, very visible marks on the bowl and a couple of small marks on the cup and the bowl. When I contacted customer service, they gave me $5 back as a gift certificate, since I didn't want to return whole thing and get a new set. But later I found some more small marks on this set. Now I wish I return them and get a new set.
