This car vent diffuser does not use felt pads. It has a little pink cylinder that is accessed by pulling off the black cap. The pink cylinder is attached to the black cap which has no scent of its own. I put about 7 - 10 drops of my chosen essential oil blend on the cylinder and it soaks right in. I put the cylinder back inside the diffuser and attach the diffuser to the air vent with the clip on the back. When I start the car, the air blowing in through the vents immediately activate the little fan in the front of the diffuser and the wonderful scent is disbursed throughout my car. It works great, the scent lasts 2-3 days, it looks very classy and is well made. I liked it so much, I purchased another one in the other color as well to give as a gift to my older son and he loves his too.

Love it! I use essential oils everywhere and had yet to find a good one that actually worked in the car. Other kinds I had tried just never put out scent. This one does. The little fan blows the scent when the car fan is on. In the winter I love to diffuse Theives oil. My son told me he could smell it in the back seat with this diffuser. I am very happy with it. It's cute too.

Its lame.... does not send any aroma throughout the car. I can see the turbine spin but it just doesn't produce a smell. Horrible waste of money.

Didn’t really work well in car...I added more oil also

Looks really cool and little turbine actually spins. My only problem is the scent of the oil isnt strong due to where the oil stick is located.
