Great for therapists/teachers
I have a lot of manuals, assessments, workbooks, and other materials in my private practice. The tabs are perfect for these books I need to be able to find quickly and without having to check the table of contents. My only problem was the template included on the website didn’t work for me and I had to create my own.

LOVE these!
I'm so glad I don't pay attention to the majority of negative reviews. I received these today and after wasting one (just to get the hang of them), I love them! The printout is very good, the size is perfect and the ADHESION is VERY GOOD. Stop touching the sticky part! If you don't touch it (or as little as possible) they stick just fine. The oils in your fingers will, in fact, lessen the adhesion. Operator error? Maybe. All I know is that these are exactly what I've been looking for to use in my planner and elsewhere and they'll stay in my list until Avery stops making them. With all that said, the only thing I would wish for is a larger variety of colors. While they serve their purpose beautifully, the colors are muted and a bit blah. Maybe a pack of neon colors? Some light patterns? Just a thought. Otherwise, these rock!!

The template from their website was easy to use and all tabs printed out nicely
I needed these for my medical coding books and thought these would be a lot nicer than handwriting all those tabs. I purchased 3 packs the first time, then realizing I needed more for all three of my coding books, I purchased 2 more packs. The template from their website was easy to use and all tabs printed out nicely. My one BIG complaint is that even after pressing, firmly, the folded section of the top portion to stick the two sides together I am coming into my office every day to tabs that have separated from the adhesive and having to press them together again. I really don't have time to be doing this every day and the only solution I can think for this problem is to place transparent tape on the back of the tabs to keep them together. Which honestly, if I have to do that, what is the point of buying self adhesive tabs?

The tabs meet my needs, but....
Overall, I like the tabs. They meet my needs, are easy to use, and a good value for the money. They appear durable, however, I've only used them about a month. I haven't found any other product that works as well and allows printing. The template works well. My only concern is the adhesive between the two parts that fold together isn't strong enough. The tabs come apart and don't remain stuck together. It seems some of the tabs are flawed because in general, they stick well. 10% - 20% of the tabs come apart consistently and the rest are fine. I'm not sure how to resolve this other than taping or gluing the parts together.

VERY easy to use (and remove) - TOO EASY - Buyer Beware may ruin printer!!!
Sad to write this review, as I have used AVERY Printable products for DECADES!!!!!!!!!!! Out of all the "Printable" file tabs out there (not a lot, but still more than this brand) I chose AVERY due to my amazing time using their products 100's of times in the past few decades!I wanted quality and bought these to have quality. What I actually got was a quality set of tabs, that as asked on my review ("easy to remove") was too literal. These were TOO easy to remove and thus removed themselves in the middle of printing and broke my printer. (Hoping after I contact Avery they will send someone to fix my printer - will update this if they do)Here is exactly how it went down..... Tried using normal paper trays down below, but the paper with the tabs on them kept getting jammed... So I used the manual feed in the back to manually feed the paper in the printer to print the tabs. Printed one sheet (new sheet, the one that kept getting jammed had no missing tabs, but I laid it aside as it was bent a little) - and it went in fine and printed GREAT! Wooohooo - ok after seeing that I printed another 3 sheets - and after the first 2 sheets printed I heard a small clicking noise then a snap, and the third sheet got jammed 1/2 way into printing. As for what happened, well, you see the pics!!!!! Many of the tabs got removed from the paper as they were being printed and got "stuck" in different areas of the printer, causing the other tabs still on the paper to be printed wrongly (no, I did not have the paper inserted wrongly, I did a test print 1st to make sure I put the paper in correctly. Also as seen some of the tabs got removed and it "attempted" to print on the glossy area under where the tabs used to be stuck onto. The clicking must have been the printer head thingy getting jammed and the snap was the black belt looking thing and plastic clear thingy being broken off. I found the black plastic the belt thingy was around to hold it in place, but it had 2 small arms I noticed were cracked and broken so I could not snap that back into the inside of my printer to get the belt back on. I do not even kn ow if Epson sells that on its own or what it is called? Also I noticed half sticking out from in under the printer heads themselves were a stack of jammed tabs with loads of ink all over them (I do not wanna know what my printer heads or the area under them look like YUK)The n opening other areas of the printer the last pic is all the other tabs I found stuck in different places and I stuck them all on top of each other to show how many others were stuck in different areas of the printer like rollers and feed area and such. YUK!What a total mess and Epson tells me this is not their problem or fault and I am going to have to pay for this myself. They could not figure out that black plastic part over the phone said I needed to take it into a specialist and have them diagnose the part and issue and see if even fixable, as the print heads may be clogged or unusable due to all the loose ink inside the printer. I know if I contact a printer shop they won't do a full diagnosis for free - and idk the expense of fixing this. Keep in mind this is a $2,000 commercial printer not a home model!!!!! It was brand new 2 years ago and I have printed under 500 pages on it since. It is like brand new and now this happens! Please be careful when printing on your printer and ONLY print one sheet at a time never multiples at once and make sure none of the tabs get loose and stuck in your printer!!! As I said I will go to avery.com and contact them to see if they can help me in this matter or maybe they will see this comment and pics and contact me! Fingers crossed!

Great to create dividers for my students' binders
I used these to create dividers with the Wausau Paper Vellum Bristol Cover Stock, 250-Sheets, Gray, 8.5 x 11-Inch, which I think is 67 lb cardstock. I wanted something affordable that I could easily set up for my middle school and high school students' binders, and this fit the bill perfectly. The tabs are holding on strong after a semester's worth of use, and I'll be using these dividers again next semester. I can't ask for more on a AZ teacher's salary when I have one less expense to think about for the coming school year. One word of warning is that these do come off but will leave residue if they've been on for a while. Consider them repositionable while you set up your tabs but fairly permanent over time because of this reason. It doesn't bother me now that I know, so I'll still give them a 5-star rating since I can't do a 4.5.
