Am I supposed to include the '&' symbol in the names? Wish I could see a preview before ordering.

I did add the &- I ordered the pine, very plain and generic looking

how much customizing can be done? I would like the get this for my daugter and son-in-law, who are both chefs and opened a restaruant.

you can type just about anything in and we can put it in the spots on the board if you reference the photo and where it will appear! if you dont want a large letter just add that into one of the lines!

Is it possible to combine shipping if I order more than one?

yes it is! You have to order on the same day though!

Is the cutting board solid wood?

Yes it is solid wood and beautiful. I purchased for a 60 year wedding anniversary. The couple loved it but are keeping it as a plaque because they think it's too nice to cut on.
