Protective Cover for Trijicon RMR (Does not fit RMR HD), Black, Made in USA (2-Pack)

I don’t usually write reviews but just had to. Amazing fit and design.

I’m happy with the covers. I have one on a 590 and the other on a Elcan mounted RMR. Great for bump, scratch and glass protection when needed. Fits perfectly. I also have their SRO and RMRcc covers, which are also great. USA made!

I have found from actual use that the Jellyfish or Dream Plastics RMR covers are excellent in quality, durability and function. The jellyfish brand have two raised dots that firmly lock it onto the RMR. This can make the protective cover a bit difficult to remove. You have to gently pry with a fingernail along the long bottom edge of each side. My favorite is the Dream Plastics, they stay on with friction alone and seal tight enough to protect the RMR while cleaning the slide. Just don't expect to blast with brake clean and have it protect against solvent intrusion. The current ones that I use have been working great for three years. What ever rubber compound that they used has held up great. It has not developed a sticky feel like some cheaper compounds develop after some time. My most recent purchase of the Dream Plastics RMR protective cover they were only available in black. In the past I was able to order green. It would be nice if they were available in some of the popular colors, Tan, Grey, Brown

I have two Trijicon RMRs so the 2 pack was actually really nice. These fit nicely but they do not quite come all the way down the bottom. (pretty close though) They do stay on which is something I was worried about. They also come off easily when you want them off. (no stretching or anything to remove them) They will only fit the RMR. (no other brands or models) That isn't a fault of this product, it was specifically made for the RMR. It is sort of a good-looking case but nothing too fancy. My only complaints are pretty minor. I wish it came down about a millimeter more on the RMR and I wish it was just a little better looking. That being said, if I didn't have them, I would order them again.

Using on an RMR type 2 non adjustable. This is exactly what I was looking for. These are very protective and thicker than the covers that come with the new Vortex series of red dots. I have no doubt these will do a great job protecting my RMRs. If you’re worried about it not coming all the way down, don’t. It fully covers the front glass and that’s what matters. They also hold very well and will not fall off. I mainly bought them to protect the optic to and from the range and from being pulled out and put back into safes and cabinets. These should come with all optics from the factory. Thanks, I will be buying more for my other optics, I trust this brand.

Does what it's supposed to do. I saw another review say that they are too short and they are but it doesn't really matter. It covers the glass and the buttons. I bought this so I can cover my RMR when I go to paint steel without worrying about getting overspray on my glass. It feels like softish rubber not hard plastic which I like.

These new ones fit way better than the old ones I had previously bought few years ago when these were $10.00. They were loose on the battery led type2 causing me to loose the pair. How ever snug on the self luminating type2 no problem. Old ones did not fit the led type2 quite as snugly as these new ones do. In all these newer $12.00 covers fit led type 2 RMR far better than previous ones I bought years ago. I feel confident will not be losing these anytime soon. Glad to see they’ve improved the fit. A+ for trijicon RMR cover. I recommend
